shitty video quality shouldn't be what makes people tell apart real console from emulator videos.

the highest quality captures using XRGB mini can rival emulator quality for pixel based games if the settings are tweaked correctly. that doesn't mean it's automatically emulated or something like that. i doubt people want to be stuck with composite level captures for all eternity when some of these retro consoles can do much better after soldering some cables.

plus, i think it's much more questionable to use controllers from different consoles with adapters since that actually changes slightly how the game can be played. it can give advantages in specific scenarios.

also, if no one can ever tell the difference of an emulator video passed as console, wouldn't that mean it's fair play since nothing was actually different in the eyes of the viewers?
