These things have the top post fill up half the screen for no good reason. I already read it, I know what it says. Is there a way I can turn this view off, or resize it so it's not so in the way? I tried looking through the settings but couldn't find anything.

you have to be a mod or the owner of the thread (first poster). then click the "static" button at the bottom of the screen. otherwise you might suggest to the owner of the thread that they do this.
