ok i finished a game from scratch today.... time of 2h46m... which i saved 33 times... but i plan to only save 18 times... with 19 segments...when im done and ready.... and since i know i cant touch the times on shins site because those are done on asian version.... which is much easier then north america's version.... im asking if anyone has a fast honest time i should set as my goal on america's version.... im hoping for a sub 2h30m time...but thats a random guess... thats why im asking for any other officail time i can follow....

and i plan to send in my knife and defence only run with jill soon... once i get money.... so please no off topic discussion about me never sending in times.... i take my time....

Best Normal Mode (no special weapons) run so far is 3:09:56 in 20 segments, so the run you have now is actually a significant improvement.

yeah i checked the previous run...well not watch it... but i looked at the comments and what not... it seems like a sloppy run...because my last run was very sloppy...

and thanks for the luck... im not going to stop shaving time off till im happy... or meet another america version time...

on my second run since i started speed running again... im stuck on 2-2 i think.... i cant seem to get certain villages to do what i want them to do... always hitting ashley because they aim for me but since ahsleys behind me thats who they hit...

still looking for other speed runners.

well before i foolishy taped big brother over my re4 run (dam my rushingness lol)

i had a damned near perfect run rarly hit and got through areas with minimal effort with a total time of like 2hrs 40mins

(SS special weapons run 1hr 54mins which i beleave also beats the segmented special run hehe but yeah) so between 2:40 and 2:50 i think are acceptable times good luck Wink

I'd suggest, what with you already have a record breaking tape or capture on hand, that you send it in, but NOT STOP WORKING at it until you're satisfied, improving on your own time.

I think he is comparing it to the japanese record which is 1:58'31 atm according to Shin's site Tongue

Maybe 2:40 isn't that fast because his sloppy run was 2:45?

Well, I've seen torao's 2:08 or something run there and I dont think there is a 40 minute difference between those two versions...

but anyway I hope they will someday release torao's 1:58 and pota's 1:47 runs (special) Tongue

yeah the japanese version is much easier and faster loading...i heard....

i was talking to an american re4 player and he got 2h19m.... its hard to beleive... but i know how it feels when people dont beleive your acomplishments... so i dont do that....

and sarou is correct when i said 2h40 isnt fast is compared to the japanese runs... but it is faster then my current time... but i dont see such a difference between north americas and japanese version
