The problem lies with the 2 above files [HQ versions] - all I can get is 68% & 62% respectively of each - in other words there seems to be a built-in 2 gig limitation on the server as that is all I can get - cannot D\L any more of each file - I've Googled for another source for the files but no luck so far..!!

Any clues or solutions please..??

Do you have enough space?  I remember only getting to 32% with some files untill I deleted some games.

No, there's tons of space - the problem [I feel] lies with the ftp server - I just wondered whether anyone else had encountered this - I appreciate they are large files - 3 gigs + each - still want them tho'..!!! Grin

Try downloading again but change the name of the file. I had a problem where if a download crashed, it would always crash in the same place unless I renamed the file.

If it is archive's server then I do not think it has a download limitation, since they host math lectures which are normally very large.

Some programs can't properly download files that are > 2 gigs. Try another program, like wget.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I've been using Flashget [or Jetcar as it used to be known] for years - it's never let me down yet - have D\L 1000's of files - all types & sizes - no problems. Till now.

Would anyone know if anyone else has completed D\L of these files [e.g. the HQ ones]...??
