Does anyone know where I can get some quake bots and plus instructions on how to use them? along with a whole heap of quake maps of any sort?

Hi there abyss..
So you are looking for bots to play against? Deathmatch, duel and quad.. that kinda stuff? years ago when I lost my connection and couldnt get a new one in a reasonable time, I used frogbots to keep my skills sharp
Frogbot was great for deathmatch. but it's a bit stupid to play duel or quad because bots are morons. so if you want to train it's useless to play duel or quad because they dont do what a real human player would do... but for deathmatch it's fun. Also, frogbots are easy to use. Readme is attached to the file and this time you really should read it, helps alot

And quake maps you can find from planetquake. www.planetquake.com/sda <- from left frame take 'Quake tables' and under that 'Levels'. Then just choose a map, download it and beat record it has.. especially ID record are relatively easy. I recomment to try them at first.. (I'm so not funny.. a bit drunk though so please forgive my stupidness)
oh and btw, you cant use frogbots on all levels. only dm2, dm4 and dm6. maybe they have more options nowadays, I dont know.
But with reaper bots you can play any map you want to. But I dont recomment using them. reapers are so stupid it makes me fucking kill. Frogbots are actually quite wise and do get armors on time and that kind of stuff. Oh, and I recommend you not to give reapers or frogbots shaft. they aim like they're using bot aimbot
