Disclaimer:

Again, I hope I didn't steal this idea from anyone, and if you who are reading this already posted something like this I didn't mean to take it. :-/

This is sort of a deja vu to Quake Done Chopped, however it is Quake 2 and requires using a blaster to kill the enemies. I wanted to post this thread to discuss the tricks that could be used in this kind of run. My rules for this kind of run would be:

1. Use only blaster and things like crates and stuff dropping on enemies and explosive barrels to kill enemies.

2. Any item may be picked up and used except for weapons besides the blaster (NOTE: If you pick up any kind of ammo for weapons and grenades and stuff without using them the run will count.

If you have something more to discuss on this topic, such as rules and guidelines, please post Wink

Also, feel free to share your times and/or run links to others on this thread.
Thread title:
18 to the diablo2 holy grail
while the blaster and axe both have no ammo to worry about they are very different.  try killing a shambler or more than just that on nightmare, then compare that to firing with a blaster at any range you want.  I mean the blaster is basically just the hyperblaster thing with crap reload speed Tongue

the result is a LOOOOONG demo which doesn't have to have too much skill sure you could put it, but naturally its not as exciting as an axe run
