well i was recently playing some ps1 games which do NOT support analog, and i found it irritating that id have to go straight from a d pad only game to an analog only game, so it made me wonder if there were even that many that arent analog only, it would be convenient to know now
the analog placement in the ps2/ps3 controller is a bit stupid. it would be better and easier to use if the analog would be where the digital is because most games use analog.

maybe I just have big hands, but it's perfect for me. I can comfortably reach the right analog stick with my left thumb though...

I liked, as someone who hadn't played a tetris game since tetris 2 for SNES.
Neo Contra PS2 (My original disc is to old and can not more read my PS2) I had forget tactics and moves for this game, but I think 'mike has a right answer for the game Neo Contra with d-pad ?

The reason that some PS1 games don't have analog is that the original PS1 controller didn't have dual analog sticks like the modern PS controllers all do.
