90:40 ahead now, but after the next segment, I get to factor in the time saved above ground, so it'll jump to about 96:35. That means in order to save over 100 minutes, I need to save 3:25 in Dream Den. Yeah, that'll be very difficult... >_>

Also, as I'm done with every above ground segment, I've made a picture of the final time on the sun meter for each day, sorted from earliest to latest. Yeah, I pretty much completely owned the 8 Day challenge. >_>

This run is absolutely amazing. I don't think it will ever be beaten. I consider myself a very good Pikmin player but I don't think I could ever play through the game this fast. Anyway, good luck with the Titan Dweevil and I hope to see this finished soon.

I don't know if this would have been useful to the speedrun but I just discovered a way to get oob in wistful wild. To get oob, go to where the Dolphin would crash in Pikmin 1. From here, turn and face the poison gate and now go to your right and head up the hill. Jump from the top of the hill and at the exact same time hold right. If done correctly, you should fall out of bounds. I have tested and this also works in the exact same spot in Pikmin 1, except for some reason it's much easier.

Wow I can't believe that I posted in this thread two years ago. Time really does fly. Congratulations for completing your run (while exceeding expectations). I watched every segment as you posted them on your youtube channel and I was very impressed. I think it's safe to say no one will beat your time simply because it's such a random game and you got such a great time. Good job Smiley

I'm guessing the only reason you can't do AW in 1 day is that treasure by the blue onion?

and it also only took a few years to bring pikmin 1 from 9 day to 8 day... then 7 then 6 within that same year haha

No. <_< I am not touching speedrunning caves ever again. And while reducing the in-game count by a Day is pretty major, it doesn't make much of a difference real-time wise (it may even be slower honestly).
