Has anyone else here played Managore's Outline? It's a high-difficulty/tight-controls game that I suspect could satiate many of the jonesing Super Meat Boy junkies like myself. I really decided to take on this run when the developer told me the game contained an anti-speedrun room, which is of course a challenge.  I have fast strategies for a number of the levels, with really notable tricks for rooms 42 and 43. Here's my current PB (which is like my third run ever, expect that to change in a big hurry and/or get replaced in this post by whatever WRs we set) if anyone wants a reference for the route.

The code for room 40 is
2016
typed into the numbers on the keyboard (a little tricky switching from controller constantly, actually).

I would like to propose one category besides any%, which would be an all-notes-no-resets run. Require the player to touch all of the dialogue bubbles without resetting the level. There are a couple of extra, optional challenges whose accomplishments are marked by the activation of a dialogue, but runs are going to be hell to verify if we can (read: have to) reset the level the same frame we touch the box and have to balance speed against maybe invalidating your run. For that reason, I recommend we abstain completely from the reset button, or at least after a pod has been touched. (to make retrying levels not terrible, I would say the technical wording would be that touching a bubble needs to be followed by a death or a level-finish and not a reset).
This has the added benefit for spectators of marathon runs of giving all the dialogue at least a little bit of air-time.

Opinions? I think I'll give one of these runs a try later to see if there are any notable kinks to be worked out.

Also, we need to figure out a consistent strategy for 47, and someone should time Brain Worm and figure out the best route. I suspect it will be the middle-upper option.

EDIT: Time is dropping rapidly. https://gyazo.com/1acf9dce81bf92e0057c61b70e3a90cb I'm going to switch to level-by-level splits, I bet the sum of best could be under 10m. Next goal is sub-11:00.

EDIT EDIT: current WR appears to be by Tesselode: . )
