Yet another ideas for projects topic Cheesy

Why don't we make a 'Quake done Cheated lite' or 'Quake done Carefully'? Most of the single map demos could be used since health doesn't change in careful runs and there's no possibility for rocket jumps. Health also presents no problem in cheated mode and there's plenty of ammo in the start so it shouldn't be much trouble.

I guess Quake done 100% naked would be the longest and most boring speedrun ever...

Orbs did a version of 'Quake done Carefully' on his own (called Quake done Gentle - all levels except e1m7 for obvious reasons) before the Other section was even added... this is probably the inspiration behind careful demos after all. Smiley
Do try to remember that the Other demos section is just that, though. Other.

We have another project planned already, anyway.

Last year with the aid of the|navigator we did a careful coop run through quake. We died about 1000 times even if we had teamplay 1. Obviously e1m7 took most of the deaths.

Somehow navi managed to survive the fall, but I never figured out how. We tried firing grenades down the chute and hope that they will slow us down before hitting the ground. Smiley

Thankfully the QdQstats Careful edition cheats the hell out of that drop by giving you a pentagram at the bottom of it. Strictly so that finishing each level is possible, you understand. Smiley
