^BTW, the audio lags behind the video in that; I think it's a problem with DGMPGDec, so from now on I'll just do what I did for my other videos.

Off topic: Wow, Google Video processes stuff, like, ten times as fast as YouTube. <.< Now, if only it didn't stretch your video...

FYI, there are options to not stretch the video. Try to mess around with Google Video a bit more.

How do you superslide off of a peahat?

GB needs some help over at tasvideos. He's been waiting about 4 days for help.

He didn't get the deku-stick "faster" backwalking trick to work either.

@DK64_MASTER: I wish I knew how to superslide off of a peahat, or I would have helped. As for the quickswap, it's not worth the trouble. Acryte said it saved at most 2-3 frames over a "long backwalk."

You wait for the Peahat to start spinning around, then you roll into a piece of grass while holding Z+R and tap A, so as to have the Peahat hit you will you go down to grab the grass.

So it takes some time to set up then? Hopefully there are a lot of places to do this.

Can anything else be grabbed, like a bomb (I think that works)?

Or can it even be triggered by something such as reading a sign, or talking to Navi?

Is the TAS going to be doing the light arrows on B route you need version 1.0 to do?

I heard skipping the sling shot could save a few seconds on a TAS, I'm not sure if this is true for the light arrows on B route too though. Someone who knows should mention this if it could save time.

Yes, we're planning to do Bottle Adventure on the TAS, though the route is difficult to plan, and we'd appreciate more input...

The slingshot skip is not feasible right now because there is no known way to shoot the switch in Spirit that releases the Bombchu chest...

We're hoping for under two hours, but that may be a bit too optimistic. I'd say that a realistic estimate is probably around 2 hours and 10 minutes, but it'll also depend on how the route turns out. Working out a BA-compatible route turns out to be a much tougher task than I envisioned.

The 2:33:25 run already halved TSA's previous run when you take timing differences into account. However, tool-assisted and console runs should not be directly compared with each other.

I just got done watchting the first two parts of the TAS, and I have to say... So far it looks way better than the first. Non-stop action!

The only thing I noticed is that he did the Skulltula trick in the Deku Tree rather slow. It's possible to do it with continuous side-hops. (I can only get 3 in a row, but I have slow fingers :P)

Yeah, that's the only think I noticed as well. I'm not a hover glitch expert, so I don't know how hard that trick really is, but it looks like it could be a few seconds faster.
