That's not the point, it's not like you NEED glitches to speedrun a game, if there is no glitches found, what's wrong with doing a a run without any major glitches?

Look at OoT, TSA's run to the TAS, MAJOR different routes. Becuase of new glitches. Same with my TWW run (sort of)

they've seen already the big OoT/MM breaks. they'll be way more careful now.

And you can skip mirror shield..? I know you can in 1.0 but other versions?

And how come you can't skip hylian shield.. Huh?

It IS possible on 1.0 to beat the game without a shield. Period.

yay I figured out another SDA acronym!

Of course CC also means Command and Conquer, Core Contengency (Total Annihilation), and probably could stand for a dozen level names of different games... half the acronyms around here still baffle me though. . .

1. Get sword

2. do a jumpslash onto the exit from Kokiri forest, leave

3. Get hylian shield

4. Go back to mido

5. TA DA, does it work?

Even if you had the Hylian Shield as your default shield how would that help you get passed Mido? The only purpose of this discussion is so you can find out where we keep our shields and eat them...

Um... I have the 1.0 version and I have no clue on how I'd be able to beat OoT with ANY shield...

And how can you repel those Deku Scrub shots with the Hylian shield? Link just crouches, he won't be able to bounce them off. :|
