Correct me if wrong, but the only problems left with the child spirit skip (or SG skip as a child) are getting the bombchus under the well and making king dodongo swallow the bombchus, right?
EDIT: Aswell, in caise this strat does turn out, TSA should make sure to leave an empty C-Button for the bombs later on while doing segment 3.
I watched segment 2 and I have to admit that its OK, but nothing special. The Ruppee run was roughly 2:13/14, which was slower than my earlier submitted vid of it. TSA gained control inside the Deku Tree 5 secs slower than my PB. Some of the logic used was fairly puzzling to me, but its roughly on line with what Yautja was saying.
1: Don't change angle in house
2:Copy what I did for the 1st part up to the tunnel, unless you want to the quicker side hopping technique
3: Nice boulder area, but why didn't you equip your sword right away you could of chopped the bush where you got your first 5 ruppees afterwards
4: Right, the post tunnel area was what ticked me off the most, why did you backflip all the way to the grasslands and WHY WHY WHY did you not try to accumlulate 30 ruppees from the grasslands, it would of saved time in the shop, when you exited the training area why did you back flip all the way.
5. You should of rolled across the blocks at the river
6. That wasn't the best performance post Mido
7. Why the delay for backwalking into the tree you get roughly 1 second glance without control where you can confirm your line or reajust.
Overall this would be fine for an SS run but I would expect 4-6 seconds quicker for a segmented run.
TSA - I have watched your segment 2 and it's great, keep going When you do segment 3? I want to see it. Good luck TSA you can do great OoT run if you want
EDIT:

Now we just have to optimize the rupee route. I think if we chronologically wrote down how much of each type of movement is needed we should get that perfect segment
I think TSA rupee route is almost perfect but he should equip kokiri sword ealier.

I think the strategy itself is perfect. Its just that the execution can be optimized more.
No offense TSA..since I know how annoying that kind of thing is.
It's too hard for me to get out of Link's house at that angle for some reason. I keep messing up. Link doesn't respond the way I want him to. I'll take that .5 second loss over the entire run
Yeah, I still need to figure out up to the backflipping to the tunnel part...I guess I could sidehop off, then back-walk, and then side hope and quick turn. I'll try practicing that.
Why the heck would I waste time trying to get 30 rupees before the blue rupee at the sign? I want to only cut two bushes, max. Cutting 4 or more is wasting time compared to getting the blue rupee in the shop.
Yeah, I didn't know about the "rolls" on the platforms. You guys mean doing a "jump roll" off each to get that extra thrust, right?
The part after Mido - The missed slash was bad.
The one second delay? I was holding forward, and did a mid-shift turn into backwalking. Or do you mean right after the cutscene ended? Sometimes you are not aligned perfectly. But I guess I should just take the chance.
Thanks for the input, I'll try to get a better segment up soon.
Edit: Does anyone get that equipping the Kokiri Sword earlier is NOT the problem. I said this already - I shouldn't be BEHIND THE BUSH to begin with, I should be in FRONT OF IT, so the transition is JUST LIKE THE BLUE RUPEE BY THE BUSH before the Kokiri Sword. The slash would be extraneously movement, as is the moving forward in my segment.

So in other words, it's unnecessary to have the Kokiri Sword equiped because it's faster to just get the blue rupee and ignore the bush.
I've been carefully reading over the route and I feel that there is a mis calculation in bombchu's, but I have a sugestion anyway.
Here's what each bombchu is being used for
1: In Spirit since the Gauntlets aren't being skipped 2+3: In Jabu since 2 are needed for the gap 4: For Hyrule castle moat skip 5: For Zora's river to get bean 6: Boulders in Goron City 7+8: Dondongo's eyes 9+10: boulders that lead to fairy
AND NO EXTRA BOMBCHUS FROM WELL
My simple suggestion is once Hyrule castle is complete you can do the cucco dive to get the bombchu's then and straight after get the bean. It would save the seam walk and jumpslash into GF fountain.
The more complicated suggestion which would save time in the adult quest would be to do bombchu bowling and win the bomb bag or bombchu's. Since its segmented you could more than manipulate a 1/5 chance of whats selected first, and from all these records that you own for all these mini games you can surely complete BB efficently.
you forgot blowing open the entrance to king dodongo's chamber
SG aren't being skipped, so you can just throw the bomb flower if you don't go into the well. I'm not sure if the bombchu or bomb flower would be faster; however, that would be quibbling over like 1 second.
Pretty neat Yautja, how come no one ever tried that before, I think that saves a lot more than 30 secs possibly 45-60 considering what the setup of the maze might be. Good job none the less
Edit: If a Moblin was to charge when Link grabs the ledge would he be knocked into the water.

Thanks. The only reason I didn't discover this until now is that I tried it on the front walls of the maze. For some reason you can't grab them, but you can grab any wall inside the maze.
