I'm not your buddy, guay!

Yeah I'm surprised I overlooked that. I think the way I had it now was go in there with 3, use 2 on staircase and 1 on final ganon. If I go in with one I can use it and have 5; 2 on staircase, one on superslide on the stairs up, and then even have an extra for Ganon. Will give me 2 to use elsewhere in the run.

That's a really good idea. This will save some seconds in the run, but now you have to look where to use this bombs in your route.

you guys figure out which route would be fastest? And the beamos thing was brought up a long time when I brought up you could improve groobo's route with the staircase trail skip.

Maybe you could use a bomb on some of the mini-boss battles.

We've found a ton of new stuff, basically everything is at ZSR now.

We have a new silver block skip, a new MST route, a new low% route, and various other minor tricks.

(New low% route btw if anyone wants to beat ZFG to completion :p)

So what's the status with the any% segmented run? Have the routes been tested for time? I think something like pseudo-tas run groobo did is the best way to test for time. He said it didn't take him long to do, just used save states like crazy for hard stuff, and it only has to be as good a as good segment attempt would be to figure out with in 5-10 seconds how fast the segment should be.

The silver block skip is doable on a console, even if it's really hard, or really slow... (with many pauses). I'm not absolutly sure that someone will do it in a single segment run, but you can do it easily in a segmented run.

I don't really understand how skipping the blocks in zora's river is a hookshot skip... It's more a bomb skip, or a faster way to get beans...

Getting the beans means that we do not need to use the Scarecrow to enter the fishing pond.

I think that I am getting close to finishing the SS, lately my times are alot better than a few weeks ago (like at forest escape i am doing 10 seconds faster than a few weeks ago :D) and I have been aking it further than I have been before.

WILL finish it before ZFG Wink

yes, unfortunately we're 99% sure the non-isg method is tas-only (klydestorm would be able to tell you why much better than i could).
