You'd just activate the sword glitch with the Biggoron sword. You can still crouch stab with it, you know.

You can't use a shield when you have the sword, and I thought a shield was required to crouch-stab ... but then again, I've never gotten the biggoron sword, so I wouldn't know.

When you try to shield with the Biggoron Sword, you just crouch without increasing your defenses at all. You can still crouchstab.

i always thought that with the biggoron sword that when you crouched you were still shielding sort of from the back? can't you use the mirror shield like that? this is going way back, i can barely remember.

Well it's a two-handed sword, so when you press R link just holds it up like a shield. I don't think it shields from the back though.

Just a thought, are you using a public computer like at a school, where security is high?
I get that at my school. youtube takes no less than 10 minutes to open a 5 minute video.

No, this is my home PC, and the only thing activated is the windows firewall, which shouldn't cause any troubles. All the other segments run fine, except for this one

But then apparently the problem seems to be happening with me only, and I didn't want to seem selfish or rude for asking for reuploading it.

I'll wait for when YautjaElder reuploads it on a higher resolution as he stated before in this thread

You can always try downloading the videos from youtube using something like this.

The video quality will be greatly reduced compared to the originals, though.

As I said in an early post, Yautja should really get himself an ftp account somewherre. Man, if he could get enough space he could upload this run there while he was working on segments and we wouldn't have to deal with reduced quality, and none of this ridiculous stuff that youtube seems to wanna dish out(Connection timed out? The vid you've requested is unavailable?)

Webspace and bandwidth cost money -- a considerable amount, I might add, when video files are involved. Haven't you heard about how YouTube wasn't profitable (until Google acquired it, of course) due to the high hosting costs?

Getting into the Water Temple without the Hookshot probably wouldn't be useful unless you could make it to the Longshot without the Hookshot(that would likely take much bomb hovering which would probably cost more time than it would save, and it would slow down Gold Skulltulla collection). Still, it seems like a cool trick, and I don't recall it being mentioned earlier.

There is a mistake that cost me a few seconds, but everything else was pretty much perfect, so I let it slide. I even got a very good bomb drop from the pots at the end.

Segment 39.

I have to admit that this segment was the hardest one I have done in a while. There are probably 6-7 seconds of mistakes, but I'd say that it's good overall. The dark link battle was good (moving towards the exit while killing him), and so was my aiming for most parts.

I found out that the target that you're supposed to longshot in order to get to the boss is only there when the water level is at it's highest. This means that I'll either have to use a hover boost, or simply raise the water level.

I dunno what is the faster option, but I'm leaning towards the hover boost.

Segment 41 is going to be tough. I played it through and realized that even with only the morpha battle left to complete in the temple, it is going to be very long. I'd like to split it into two parts.

I know that I will technically lose time from this however I put it, but in the end I'm sure it will save me time. What needs to be figured out now is when to save. I'm thinking of saving after picking up the fire arrows (and the skulltula), and then start the next segment by playing the serenade of water, which will put me back at the big island. From there I can backwalk across the bridges and then keep going as normal. I'm not sure if it is faster to swim across the whole lake to the scarecrow instead of going across the bridges though.

The second option is to re-enter the water temple and then save, but this is probably slower than just saving directly after completing it and then warping back using the serenade.

The best would of course be if someone could find a way to do this without losing time, but I doubt it'll be possible.
