Normal TRR demo??

What's going on with this??

To me it looks like you lot have completed the new TRR full quake run, and released it solely as a 43253256 gig video in some god-awful engine.

But that can't possibly be right, so can someone explain it to me please??

How have you been unable to put the first person normal quake demos together in a pak yet able to release a massive custom engined video??

Or, more importantly, why?? Yes I know you're waiting to do a "proper" TRR movie, I read that. But why not either release the FPP pak or nothing at all??

BUT we might have something ready for release soon-ish, we'll just have to wait and see. There's no way in fucking hell I'll release anything if you bastards on func_msgboard keeps whining like you do!

I find it strange to...even I can make a pak with FP demos...but I'm patient try not to whine (banging head against wall 10x a day seems to help)
and just say to my self the FP pak release will be within the magical 10 minute border

Aha! A decent message board at last - ie one with avatars
and ranks and stuff....time to spam it up methinks.

Um, I think the basic reason was: the person who made the
avi either wanted to make an avi for their own edification, or
couldn't be bothered to pak it - a pak would probably still warrant a menu of some sorts - it's a movie, not simply a demo collection. or something.
