I had to record a segment on a run on VHS and I want to capture and encode it myself. I follow Nate's FAQ on VHS capture down to the T (except my video card is a GeForce FX 5900), but when I hit "Capture AVI..." from the file menu I'm presented with a window labeled "VirtualDub Error." It says "No capture driver available." What does this mean and how do I fix it?

It means either A) you don't have a driver installed for your video card to record vide on its video in. or B) that virtualdub doesn't like that driver.
Thanks for the advice Smiley I downloaded the video capture driver from nVidia's site and now when I hit "Capture AVI..." I get a screen with some buttons and such. I really haven't messed with it much, but I doubt I'll be having any more probs.

Thanks again.
