I don't know if this is brought up yet, but from my point of view it would make it a bit easier to upload Speed Runs or Let's play videos with Nintendo content without being copyright IDed and earn a little bit of money on the side.  (Though not much.)

Of course this has raised an uproar because of Nintendo's restrictions and such to this program, most of which I won't put on here.  Of course, I already have work for income so its not a big deal for me but it is for those that make a living.  I'm kind of on the fence on this, so I'm going to hold off on this for now.

What's your guys's thought's on this?
Thread title:
Would make it easier to upload videos? Or, you know, Nintendo could just do the same thing that any sane game publisher does and NOT create restrictions for content creators, and NOT try to grab cash from their ad revenue.

Point taken.  Though its kind off scary if other companies did this sort of thing.
Literally speaking... literally...
The real question here is how this will affect the GDQs and their respective YT uploads or even the live streaming. Any mods around to comment on this?
I may not be the one who knows, but from what I read on the site, you can register a channel or videos individually; videos will need to include a caption or audio message by mic to inform viewers that the maker has a right use Nintendo license and such.  You can check out the description for it on users rights for actual wording.  If you're registering a channel, you need to remove videos of third party games before registering the channel.  I plan to register videos individually rather than my whole channel.

I think this only applies to you tube videos and channels, unless you're uploading from stream; but other then that I don't think it should affect streaming.  (I could be wrong.)
