        is there a bhop cap speed limit ? or you can got as fast as you want ?

Maximum default velocity is 2000 I think... The fastest Quake runners out there can get about 500-600 by bunny hopping alone.

Entertaining stuff, even though I didn't know the levels... I remember laughing out loud at the level that consisted of a simple double-rj... 5 seconds of falling, then bouncing back up and exiting.  Funny song choice in the end credits, as well.

FOV = Field of View/Vision and only people who can't play games change it from its default 90.

FOV is field of view. The more fov you have the better/more you can see.
But for the inexperienced it might seem weird/dumb.
The progamers use fov > 100 usually.

with a fov of 90 you see less large but better with long distance
with a fov of 120 you see larger but less long

like a fov for sniping would be 40-50 ( dotn really know the number but you get the meanning )

p.s. i paly with a fov of 115 ( in tfc half-life mod )

I only know 4 or 5 good quake players that still play with the default 90 fov.  Lots of them also think that a larger fov is more important than using headphones.  Decent players tend to use 110-120.  I use 115 =o.

You must be talking about Quake 3 players... Quite a few Quake (1) speedrunners tend to use fov 90.

Yea i basically only play q3a/osp 1v1 anymore, but when i used to duel in q1/2 i definately used a larger fov.  I dont know what's required for speedrunning but for q3a there's no way i would play with a 90 fov.  Then again i also use picmip 5, vertex lighting, and in general ghetto out the settings as much as possible.

The vid was a lot of fun to watch tho; vnj guys.

Speaking of which i wonder if a q3a speedrun would even be possible... =o that game is ultra random.

A while ago some guys did a speedrun of each level of q3a. Even though to beat each level is a matter of anticipating where the enemy will spawn and killing him fast, I don't see why SDA wouldn't host this. Of course, I'm not Radix.
