My controller is yours.
First of all, big thanks to Acmlm for providing a fastest-1M (approximate) TAS of this game. Also thanks to english1stud for going beyond level 29 in his series of Tetris walkthrough videos on his YouTube channel.
Both users demonstrated two things:
[1] How to luck-manipulate upcoming shape pieces that is needed to perfectly create an even stack across for possible TETRIS'es later on.
[2] Do anything it takes to keep block-stacks as well-maintained as possible before reaching the top. Even if you have to clear a line, do it! Level 29 and beyond are killswitch levels, they are dangerous, they can glitch/crash when trying to clear lines starting in Level 156 (F60 lines cleared), and those levels do not cut any slack! These levels make it totally impossible to score L-shaped TETRIS'es from the very top, even when using an emulator.
Some may be in the process of doing a complete tool-assisted playthrough the way I been taking care of the same. I'm already reaching midpoint of this little playthrough I been doing, here's a sneak peek:
I do not know when my playthrough will be complete, but I am at currently level 157 as we speak. There are 335 levels in the game meaning that the player can score up to 3,359 actual lines in the game. Level 336 will put the player back at zero with reset fall speed. Even after a one-line clearance that produced a glitch which chopped off majority of the Statistics table, the game is still playable. l8rz!
