Take This! Ultra Frisbee-Disk Attack!
Basically, my question is: Could multiple runs be recorded on one tape and accepted? If anybody knows anything relating to this, let me know.
Thread title:
Never give up!
Yes, multiple runs on one tape are accepted under the condition that you label what runs are where on the tape.

It is suggested you put some space between the runs as well.
Fucking Weeaboo
Just a warning, if you screw up on your second run and absolutely have to rewind, don't rewind too far that you record over a part of the 1st one!  Tongue

But yes, label times appropiately and leave some dead space.

Thanks AquaTiger, I wasn't quite sure what to think on that before; that really helps me out. I was thinking about doing different types of runs on the same game and/or multiple runs on completely different games, mainly the game I am working on right now, Sunset Riders SS on hard for SNES and after that a 100% Diddy Kong Racing SS run which will be on the same tape as the Sunset Riders run.

I know that already, I just wanted to know if you could do multiple runs on the same tape, but thanks for the advice.

Are you too poor to buy 2 tapes?

Fucking Weeaboo
I'd donate you some, but I gave all my blank tapes to my mother after I got my good DVD recorder.

[Hi, I go apoplectic whenever anyone says the word "poor". I also think writing a furious half-page paragraph flaming someone over an offhand remark is the kind of thing this board is for.]

Thanks for your generosity, Sir_VG, but I don't need tapes, I could go to the stores and buy them myself when I'm ready to start recording my runs. What you said here is about 1000000% better than what DAMURDOC said in the post before yours. Thanks again for the info you provided for me, it really helps me out a whole lot.

It doesn't really matter what was implied with the smiley, the point is that stuff like that posted, discrimintating against any kind of person shouldn't be allowed and tolerated. I'm going to find out Radix's opinion on the matter and see what he says and/or wants to do about it.

I don't know what he thinks, but I think you shouldn't go apoplectic over a simple offhand remark. You're reading an awful lot into it.
Take This! Ultra Frisbee-Disk Attack!
You know what, just forget that I said anything about it, I realize that the post wasn't really what I thought it was and I'm sorry for saying what I said. Nothing else is worth saying about it, so there's no need to say anything to Radix about it, I was just really angry and mad at the time and I've chilled out and relaxed to a point where everything I said was completely foolish and out of line. Won't happen again because people have their own opinions on stuff and I'm sorry what I said about DAMURDOC, it really wasn't intended. Hope you guys can forgive me for what I've said and I will now concentrate on nothing but the runs I have planned for the specific games. If I can fit both the Sunset Riders and Diddy Kong Racing runs onto one tape, then I will do that, but if it's too much time, then I won't do that. But I will put most runs that don't take up a lot of tape on the same tape, I'll let you know which runs I plan to put on the same tape in advance.

Yeah, I now know that, but you shouldn't go saying something like that regardless of what is implied or meant by it. All I'm saying is that you should just post something that is related to the topic, giving advice on what to do, how to do it, etc., not saying something like that which could possibly offend others, I'm just saying people should watch what they say on the forum to make sure that even the slightest possibility of offending anyone is there. Also, if it doesn't matter what is said, I could post some stuff just like what DAMURDOC said in some other part of the forum and probably get banned or some other form of punishment for doing that. If not, then I'm doing that all the time from now on.

It doesn't matter what was intended, I don't really care anymore, everything's cool. I just got a little angry at what was said, that's all

You should really watch what you say in the forum from now on and be careful not to offend anyone with your remarks. I just thought it would be better if you wanted to record a lot of runs that the use of a lot of tapes and multiple runs on each tape would be the most efficient way of going about things, not being "poor" by using the same tape to record multiple runs.

Sorry for the billion posts in a row, but I felt it was completely necessary to get the message out there and will absolutely not do it again under no circumstances because I know how much it is not appreciated. Hope you guys are looking forward to my runs. Later.

I don't get it...is there something wrong with the modify and remove links?

Chill out, trihex, that stuff is done with, don't try to escalate something that doesn't need to be. BTW, I also agree that DVD recording would be better but I still might do a few runs on VHS tapes just to see the contrasting quality between a VHS and DVD recording.

The difference between a supernova and a black hole.

You know, if you try to actually think about that analogy, it starts to make no sense whatsoever.

He asked about "contrast". What's the brightness of a black hole? 0. What's the brightness of a supernova? Brighter than any other object in the universe. The fact that a supernova might leave behind a black hole has nothing to do with it.  Tongue

* Of course, black holes are still unproven to even exist, blah blah blah.

Recycle my good man.  Not like my parents would ever get a DVD Recorder.  Plus my grandparents could use them too.

It's better.  TRUST US.  Especially me, because I've done the same game on both and the difference was like like, chocolate and vanilla ice cream.  They both satisfy your hunger, but chocolate is just that much sweeter.

And I know your sig says you're doing TMNT IV (SNES).  Give it up.  Mike has us all licked (Though his bonus levels sucked).

Something's wrong with your ice cream, then. Chocolate isn't sweet. Maybe it's that Like Like that's gotten into your chocolate ice cream... does anyone know if Like Likes are sweet? TSA?
