I survived MIKE-Fest 1

This topic is for brainstorming things waht do do at Mikefest 2 except for the marathon.
I will edit the first post regulary to get some overview.

Well I definitely plan on sightseeing atleast tuesday and wednesday after the marathon. Got no definite plans yet but there's plenty of stuff to see in DC.

As for cooking, it might be difficult to tell much until we know where we're going to stay (and thus knows how big kitchen we have access to). Still, I know several stews that are easy to make for many persons. I'll go dig up those recipes and see if they might be acceptable Smiley

i def wanna play some advance wars with people, whichever installment

i ALSO want to play a really particular game with at least someone. it's a part of game & watch gallery 4, the modern version of donkey kong 3 - i have a lot of fun playing just against the computer and i've wanted to play a human in that game for years and years.

also, slag me all you want but my favorite mario kart game is double dash and that'd be pretty cool if enough people were interested for 4+-player races.

and rom and i have already decided we're racing smrpg at some point.

unrelated to games, i'm down for trips around the area and sightseeing.

i know last time there were a lot of mall/walmart/etc runs for random equipment and whatnot, so plenty of chances to eat out/get to know people then. also most of us went out for pho one day which was great -- would be fun to do something like that again.
