So...this game is about to come out. Any plans on running it? It will be fun to route it together i guess. This video shows some interesting mechanics, similar to MMX series:

From Wikipedia
Upon weakening enemies by shooting them, Beck can dash through them in order to absorb a substance known as Xel (pronounced "Cel"). Absorbing Xel from enemies will grant Beck temporary enhancements, such as increased power or speed.

What do you think about it?

I know the post is a little bit older but i am started to speedrun the game.

My rout through the game is Mighty No. 8,Mighty No. 6, Mighty No. 1, Mighty No. 2, Mighty No. 5, Mighty no. 4 then Mission with Cell and then final stage.

Think it is the best way to do the bosses.

Hope there are some other guys who also want to run this game.
I'm here hoping to start running this game as well, so you're not alone. I know it's not a very well loved game, but I've been having a great time with it so far, and I'm glad to see that someone else is thinking about their run. I'm very early on in the process... still working on memorizing the levels and figuring out what level order feels best for me, the only thing set in stone is hitting No. 8 first because of the RNG and also the boss being very easy to take out with just the standard weapon.
A week later and I'm realizing that the Capitol Building isn't nearly as RNG dependent as I thought it was. I'm not sure if it's based on your speed or current rank or something else entirely, but the last 4-5 times I've run through the game, Countershade's path through the level has been the same. So I suppose you could just start with the Military Base instead to pick up Battalion's power right away.
Visually Appealing
A lot of work has already been put into the game. Check out these leaderboards to see what's been done. In short, Batt is far and away the best option to fight first. You're gonna use his weapon everywhere.

Shade's stage is the same every time. Go right two rooms, go left two rooms, then go right the rest of the time. Although, an alternate route has been found that uses a quick kill. You go right two rooms, but immediately go back to the starting room. When you fight Shade in the starting room, you hit him with Dyna's weapon, trying to have all four parts of the move hit at once. Then you keep going right and do the same to Shade two more times. If done properly the fight ends after the third encounter. The spacing for Dyna's weapon is very specific, I don't actually know it myself.
Ah! Good resource, thanks for that Satoryu! I've been watching some of the runs there and working to improve my own time... learning to abuse Batt's power was a huge leap on it's own. Going to start practicing that Countershade tech soon too, it'd be nice to take that extra bit of time off.
