Mid-March Mini-Marathon

March 21st is World Down Syndrome day, and I would like to organize a mini-marathon to raise awareness for, or raise money for, down syndrome research. I'd like to have a variety of game genres being ran in it, be it RPG, FPS, action, SHMUPS, arcade, etc. Since this would be the first time doing this, we could just make a host train that goes from streamer to streamer. If anyone would be interested in doing something like this please let me know, and fell free to submit a game. I'm planning on contacting the World Down Syndrome Day website to see if they could make a donation page too. Last but not least, since this is a mini-marathon, I'd like to see the craziest runs your speedgame has to offer. Thank you for reading.

EDIT: It's not going to be a host train. I'm actually going to be making a single channel for it and give all the runners the stream key. We will coordinate through skype when we change runners/streamers so that no two people stream at once and overload it or cause problems. This will be much better since it will allow people watching on mobile to see the entire marathon, and we also have the ability to link to the Donation Page directly on the channel.

If you need a short racing game with big skips, RNG manipulation and a ton of barrel rolls, I can give you Hot Wheels Turbo Racing any%. If you want some fast paced puzzle games, I can offer Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine or Kirby's Avalanche hardest difficulty.

I can't decide, do I offer Silhouette Mirage with offer of fighting the secret boss (even if I fail the conditions it's not something I can't have a safety save on hand for) or do I offer the terrible Animaniacs game on Genesis no one in their right mind wants to watch because of the swag in their smug-ass "We don't give a crap" prance they do through the whole game Tongue

Go for Silhouette Mirage, and if something comes up that one of the other runners can't do their game we can have yours as one of the back-up's. Same with you Cosmyk, if something happens I'm probably going to give the go ahead on Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine.

Ruling the cosmos!

I wouldn't mind doing a run of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Pretty short run, about 18 minutes, 'cause the game's buggy as all hell. Really fun run.

Aria of Sorrow looks awesome. I'd love for that to be in. And wow Cosmyk, that's really interesting, it'll definitely be good for a back-up, or for a good set-up period for someone.

EDIT: I'd love to see hard mode, and still go for all the crazy glitches. It's up to you though.

Sounds like a plan, Silhouette Mirage as a primary with Animaniacs as a throw-in if need be, it's far less entertaining IMO and generally should probably become 35 minutes of reminiscing 90's cartoons

I might be in another marathon at some point though, Emptyeye invited me into the RizeUp marathon next week because they need some fillers and I don't know if/when that'll be

only games I'm really practiced in atm are Karoshi and Mega Man Powered Up though [ I didn't submit powered up since i can't have game sound and mic lol] but i could derust any other game if need be Smiley

(Don't accept Karoshi it really isn't that interesting!!!)
