I would probably add to the commentary list, "Don't accept a challenge without asking." It sounds obvious, but it seems like most marathons inevitably have something that randomly gets accepted while the actual people involved have no idea it happened, let alone no desire to do it.

For those concerned about their language, again it's ok if a few slip here and there, just try to be conscious of it. A tip I can give is to take a specific word and actively try to substitute it for the fucks or shits you'd normally say. You may remember I was calling basically everything a jerk last year when things were going south, that was my substitution.

Also, this falls more under guidelines than hard fast rules, but it's a good idea for anybody expecting to be on camera to read up a bit on the charity. That way you can talk intelligently about them a bit when we do plugs (and we should be plugging them about hourly at least).

I just remembered one:
When answering queries in the chat about who's currently on camera, use the camera's view of the coach when saying left or right. The amount of times this caused confusion last time is uncountable Smiley

Also, people who are reading the chat should pay extra attention to the appearance of the $ sign in messages, since that one is likely coupled with a donation challenge request. I think the opportunity for completing one of my challenges was missed last year despite me repeating it several times, so things like that can easily become lost when the chat is crowded.

LOL, why would we. In the Netherlands you can swear all you want, TV doesn't care... Although lately it has been downgraded sadly.

It was always funny when we had live shows and then american stars would be guests and just say 'fuck' a lot because they could. (Most of them were amazed by this)

Anyway, just go new kids style... (or are you guys hating that show/movie? :P) (Yes in the Netherlands 'new kids (on the block)' got a whole other meaning)

Personally if I'd have to think of the worst swearing I would use I would come up with "godverdomme, tering tyfes kutzooi" man if I want to do the worst I can. I think I'm pretty 'old skool' when it comes to swearing. 'Godverdomme' is still my personal favorite next to 'kut'
