I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

I have made a Test Run from the Game. The video is captured
at VHS. I will made it from VHS to Capturing to DVD.
All Levels in fast Time for me , complete run of all Levels.
The Version to Play the Speedrun , is the Beta PAL Uncensored
Version.

I have Play in single segments.
No skip ingame Videos or any others , Play full.

Have anybody interresting for the Speedrun.

A manhunt 2 run would be great. I would be disappointed if SDA didn't let it through, because it is only an internet site that's going to see it, and you don't have to verify/watch if you don't want to.

Well, my guess, since it was officially made....and I presume played on a PS2 via HDLoader or some other trick, and is PAL...then it probably could live on the site as a separate category from the eventual runs of the censored/content modified versions in PAL or NTSC-land.

Obviously, the play and A/V quality would have to be up to snuff...and verifiers specific to it would have to manifest---but I'd think that pretty much puts it in the same straits as a run for most any other game.

Hopefully a mod laden with power will come in and weigh in on it....this is a weird case.

Whom I do not have permission , I would not like to make the whole work available.
I was one first it played , over 40 days hard works to play a Game which many

ich denke wir können diesen run akzeptieren wegen der außergewöhnlichen situation aber ich muss mit dem rest des teams sprechen bevor ich sicher sein kann.

The play changes one the videos for whom would jump over.
It is harder to Play the game without skipping ingame Videos.
The opponents have other Intelligence.
The video works like a film.
It is difficult to explain my states.

Can I Post the Speedrun List ?

wen man Skippen würde in jeder Situation verhalten sich die Gegner
nicht mehr an den normalen Verlauf des Spieles.
Es ist sehr schwer zu Spielen ohne zu Skippen. Das sind Gründe
warum ich mich entschieden habe nicht zu Skippen.

But I have still problems in five Levels , which are not good enough.
In the list marked by an "X". I must play it again for a better Run.

dann geht es, das nicht skippen ist kein problem. normalerweise ändert sich das spiel nicht egal ob man sie skippt oder nicht und die regel entspricht nur diesen situationen.

then it's fine, not skipping is no problem. normally the game doesn't change regardless of whether you skip them or not and the rule applies only to those situations.

und ich nehme an dass es situationen auch gibt wobei man die szene am besten nicht skippt? ja das alles ist kein problem, es gibt solch eine szene bei metroid prime 1 (phendrana drifts anfang).

and i'm assuming there are also situations whereby you are better off not skipping? yeah everything there is no problem, there is such a scene in metroid prime 1 (phendrana drifts beginning).

Welche Person entscheidet ob , das Bildmaterial gut genug ist
um in den SDA eingetragen werden zu können.

Which format is better = DVD or Encoded DivX Format ?
The DVD is ~3.8 GB big and I have a small uppload speed.

Is permitted it to compress the files with RAR or Zip ?
Können die Daten komprimiert werden als RAR oder Zip ?

Soweit ich weiss regelt das alles Nate, er entscheidet ob die Qualität gut genug ist(denk ich mal)..
Ihm schickst du die DVD...oder über einen torrent..
Aber vorher brauch man Prüfer, damit der Run geprüft werden kann(verifiziert) damit man sicher gehen kann das nicht geschummelt wird(das ist so das wichtigste)...
Bin mir aber nicht sicher ob dieses Spiel noch irgendwer anders hat, und wenn es niemand hat, gibt es auch keine Prüfer, schade eigentlich

Soweit ich weiss regelt das alles Nate, er entscheidet ob die Qualität gut genug ist(denk ich mal)..
Ihm schickst du die DVD...oder über einen torrent..

mit torrent musst du nicht alles auf einmal senden, es passiert einfach wann immer du aufm internet bist. und ich bin immer online. damit kann die qualität die höchste sein (die qualität ist immer am höchsten bei der ursprünglichen version des videos, in diesem fall dvd .VOB).

komprimieren ist ok aber ich denke es hilft nicht sehr viel mit video weil es schon komprimiert ist.

es ist nicht einfach aus dem divx zu erkennen aber ich denke wenn du mir die ursprünglichen .vobs senden könntest wäre alles in ordnung qualitätsweise für sda.

it's not easy to tell from the divx but i think if you are able to send me the original .vobs then it would be ok quality-wise for sda.

Die DivX Version hätte keine chance ? Die DVD ist nicht viel besser , da die VHS Kassetten auch nicht mehr so in Ordnung sind.

Wen nur die DVD zur verwendung genutzt werden solle , so schreibe mir bitte "nate" eine @ zu mir. Es wurde gesagt das über Torrent diese Daten verschieckt werden können.
Hast du einen Privat tracker ? Ich denke das würde zu lange dauern bei meinen ~24KB/sek..

jap. und wir wollen immer so nah der ursprünglichen version wie möglich kommen weil die qualität dabei immer die höchste ist (sda ist vor allem eine video-site). aber du musst den run zuerst förmlicherweise vorlegen. um das zu machen schreib mikwuyma eine pm mit den infos hier: http://speeddemosarchive.com/submit.html (anfang des zweiten absatzes), sag ihm du willst torrent benutzen und dann gibt er dir die tracker-infos, aber wenn ich dein torrent bekomme muss ich es bei dem tracker zuerst registrieren also mach dir keine sorgen wenn es am anfang vom tracker nicht akzeptiert wird.

Im grunde geht es mir nur darum , das ich nicht die Nötige Zeit habe die großen Dateien zu Uppen. Natürlich ist die DVD etwas besser wie die DivX Version. Aber die DVD ist von der Quallität her auch nicht besser , da die VHS Kassetten sehr schlecht sind.

Ich könnte noch einen Freund fragen der mir die Videos als VBR 2-Pass XviD Encodieren kann. Das Bild were besser wie die DivX
Version.

Es geht mir nur um die Größe der Dateien die zu Uppen sind , da die Zeit bei mir nicht für solche großen Dateien ausreichen.
