MrGunz and Petrie, amazing runs! I've watched both your runs even tho Petrie haven't completed his. I am greatly impressed and there are so much I didn't know about this game. Awesome some and I look forward to see more from both of you!

I would be able to get the SS run pretty quickly, because I did everything thousands times in my segmented run already, so I'm still practised

Okay so I liked this idea and did some math.
About 4:26 MrGrunz hits enters the boss room. Petrie has a Twinmold TAS bow only vid that is 1:30.
That means that the approximate total is 5:56.

The TAS ( if theres a better one please post the time. Does the same from 1:55:21 - 1:59:27 = 0:04:06.

I would try and fight for this but unless Boss Keys count as a % (lol Blast Mask would win). Then this trick becomes pointless. Even with the bag upgrade and Blast Mask (to speed things along in the Bomb Hovering part) it would still most likely lose.

BUT STILL GREAT FIND!

Edit: Is it faster to use Bow and arrow rather than Giant's Mask? I think the current is only ~10 seconds faster and opening the chest and putting on the mask I think would be slower.

did anybody know, that you can travel from ikana to woodfall via the river?

that would be a convenient way to get the twinrova bottle, I think, so deku palace or woodfall wrong warp could be more useful than I first thought

i knew that. i used it a few times. it is not very obvious since there's no similar connection between the other areas.

Yeah, it's known. We were looking into using it in a potential route over at TASvideos, and it was very unclear which was faster.

Note that Goron Mask skip is looking quite good for any% TAS. Any% speedrun...not so much.

For rupee routing purposes How long does it take to kill the bird outside of Milk Road?
Times should include with and without Gilded Sword. And TAS and Non-TAS.

You pass by him (or her) at least once (getting the bottle from the ranch). Unfortunately you have only the normal sword at that point.

Snowhead Temple Boss key Skip:

it's way harder to get OoB with ISG activated than it maybe looks like Wink

requieres probably too many explosives for any% and game time, but maybe we can use it in 100%, if we're allowed to skip the Boss Key. It's not really clear, wheter we have to get big key, compass and map or not Wink

One week ago there was no boss key skip for MM, now I've discovered one for every temple Grin

great bay temple:

useful? doesn't requier much time, skill and explosives, so I think so

I'm not very fimilar with the great bay temple pipe system, so I don't know, if we can skip some parts of it. Petrie will tell us for sure Smiley

Boss Keys are definitely not needed for 100%, as they disappear after playing the SoT.

Anyways, for the record, I don't see the GBT boss key skip being useful at all. Snowhead might work in a 100%, though.

Well for a TAS how long does it take to kill the bird, from an point. The points could be Bomb Shop and the Milk Road Owl. I think for a TAS with Fire Arrow (or maybe even normal ones) this shouldn't take long. For a normal run though it may take time.

skip all switches and nearly everything else of Great Bay Temple:

it requieres only 40 explosives, so we can use it in a any% run Grin

Oh, we can definitely do better than 40. Not sure what the best way to do it is, but I can do it in at most 36. Will work on lowering that.

On the upside, we can thus skip the yellow switch, as it takes only 4 explosives to hover past that.

This should save a couple minutes, although I liked the old GBT route better. It didn't involve 20 bomb hovers.
