Everybody loves Hypnotoad!

Oh, right. Now that I think about it, the Lens of Truth warp is pretty hard. It's the Deku Palace one that's fairly easy. It only saves ~50s, so go ahead and skip it. Just go to the mountains normally, and save those rupees for later.

too bad that I already did segment 3 where I bought the bombchus. couldn't I activate the ISG of something different than a bomb in order to get the bomb bag in the 3rd cycle to save even more rupees?

If you already did the segment, that's simple enough to solve. Just reset your interrupt save. Takes you right back to the beginning of the cycle.

and no, you need bombs to reach Mountain Village. It wouldn't save many rupees anyways.

Still, though, if you're doing seg'd, it shouldn't be as bad to do wrong warp. I thought you were still doing SS. You are using the correct grotto, right? On the other hand, it's still not really necessary.

I'm going to do the run segmented without wrong warp glitch. I won't use this trick, because I don't want to spend too much time for the run.
do I have to beat stone tower in one segment without deku sticks and gilded sword? If I sell the gold dust I will have enough rupees for the deku sticks, but that costs some time.
so what is the fastest way?

getting gilded sword (forces me to collect a lot more rupees)
selling gold dust and buying deku sticks
selling gold dust and play trough game with normal sword

the easiest method is the first one, of course, and the hardest one is the third method.
oh, and there's an other question left.
should I run the gae with 3 hearts?
completing great bay temple + stone tower with 3 hearts should be really frustrating, especially the gyorg battle.

Is it a 3-day challenge (I call it that I realize it's actually 6-days). If not then you could get the razor sword, I don't know how much better it is but it could help.

Petrie found a way to damage Gyorg without Zora Mask it would take some of the risk out of it, plus Light Arrows might do more damage than a Zora attack so if you do Stone Tower before Great Bay then it might speed things up.

You overestimate the difficulty of many of those things. And if you're going to skip the wrong warp, just get the Gilded Sword. you save 80r from not doing Wrong warp, you can get 100r from that one chest in ECT on the third cycle, and you can play the Zora pots minigame on the way to GBT to get 90r more. That's just 30r to make up the rest, and it won't be hard to do at all.

I'll upload the first segments soon.
I can't get rupees from terminia field, because I can't find a way to have enough time.
I will test how much rupees I need.

should I climb Stone Tower with 10 or 20 bombchus?
probably 10, right?

I'd go with 20. It shouldn't be too hard to get the needed rupees, and doing 10 bomb hovers in a row is mildly difficult and really boring.

I'm uploading the first segment at the moment. The other 4 will be uploaded tomorrow. I have to go to bed now

yep, on my youtube account.

I have a problem with the encoding of segment 2. I have to split the segment into 2 parts. After the video is splitted by the movie maker there's a terrible sound lag. Any ideas why this happens?

movie maker is all over the place in errors. Should probably use some other program to encode your vids. Id recommend VirtualDub for cutting the movie. If you have any problems i would be glad to help with them

I have Virtualdub and normally I use it, but I have no idea how to split videos with it.
Can you tell me how to?

Movie Maker is just for videos which are longer than 10 minutes.

I uploaded all segments until segment 6 already, but I deleted them again.
although the segments were great in my opinion, I'll re-do the run. two people made me fell bad about it.

The bad thing is, that I record with Fraps, so this run won't be submitted to SDA. Although this run will be never on SDA, I hope that you still support my run.

yep, I have nothing else to record. however, I play with a PS2 controller. It's completely different to a normal N64 or GCN controller, so I have no skill on a normal console.

to the run

should I death warp out of the Woodfall Temple? If it's really worth doing and you can stand that annoying peeping, I will aim my whole segment 9 to have a half heart left.

Was it a "real" run, meaning no frame slower. If so meh, if not you could restart your run and get it on TAS' website.
