Im goin to try a loom speedrun next. Whatcha think?
I dont hope anymore, that my runs would be acceptet. I think they are just too bad... Cry

Hardest difficulty please. Anyone can just copy the tunes from the bottom. (Not that you need it if you know the game) Wink

But that game had nice music...

Well, I know that this game can be completed fast even when playing it normally. But I think you´ll have a hard time remebering all those "spells". Unless you write them down of course. Or have a friend tell you them might be a good idea.

What the hell, go for it. Would be nice to see nostalgia wise.

I actually found some of the floppys I had for some Lucas Arts games, but I needed 7 and only found 5. So this is second best.

I enjoyed your others immensely, so this should also be good.

Did you guys even read his last two sentences? Anyway Phallosvogel (nice name :-/), why don't you make yourself better, do a good job, and run Loom for SDA? Loom is about as easy of a game as you can pick, so I don't see why you would be doing a poor job.

He did some great Monkey Island 1 &2 and a Sam and Max speedrun, but he self hosted them because they wouldn't be accepted here, probably due to the slow, fairly simple nature.

So we still get to see them, just not on the site!

Ill try on expert mode (never did before :O ). but first I need an proper version. Ive got 256 colors version but with no sound X(

Oooooold school

loom on hard, done easy!

1: Get to the camp
2: Get into the big tent and go to the church thing
3: speed through the dialogue
4: Get the staff
5: Cast undo on the loom
6: Cast the last spell on yourself once you're through the loom.
7: You're done!

(I'm not kidding...that's how you do it...)

...hmmm...check it on easy, one of the settings right at the beginning you start out with all of the notes on the staff...either that or it was a glitch with the install...

but it worked...once...or...twice...I dunno...it was a long time ago.

atm nothing. I cant get a good version with background music and speech. and I cant get the glitch workin

ok Ive made a final decision: I wont speedrun this game. this game is a hell to speedrun because of so many random drafts. and every 2 minutes the staff disappears for no reason Angry

The spells (or whatever they´re called) are random every time, except the first one used to open things, it´s always e-c-e-d.

Just to refresh this topic.
Is there anyone who wants to do this speedrun?
I am just asking, because this LucasArts games are my favorite ones and so I'd really like to see them ALL in speedruns.
So I would be really looking forward to this and I know that many others are too in this forum.
