Hi, I downloaded a series of demo from http://quake.speeddemosarchive.com/quake/
and wanted to know how could one link demo files between them.
Let's say for example after e1m1.dem instead of "server disconnected", I want to see e1m2.dem.
I tried notepad copying "playdemo e1m2" at the end of the .dem file but it didn't work.
Sorry if this sounds silly but with a google search, half the results are about quake raytracing demo...

The demtool utility can be used to add automatic playdemo commands at the end of one demo. All the marathon demo paks should have this already.

Unfortunately these days you have to run demtool under dosbox!
