Ok, I know we need to get the vids encoded and we need to get them to the proper ppls to do so. So should we upload them here or in a PM to admins to prevent them from being leaked?

... Crap I forgot to record my VVVVVV run from the marathon, I feel terrible about that. I made sure to get all of my settings right... and totally forgot about one of the most important parts.

Uhhh maybe i can contact electrochock and see what he has for video as he has already uplaoded it to youtube. I am totally sorry about that. I completely dropped the ball on this one.

I will be sure to not do the same thing for Super Metroid. Sad

I didn't record Dawn of Sorrow (didn't notice that the box wasn't checked), so unless it was randomly recorded by someone else (electrochock didn't record), then I guess I'll just have to work that run into something submittable to make up for it.

My LoI recording via FME was choppy, but I do have a recording on DVD too, it will just be a little shorter then the FME one. Kirby Amazing Mirror seems better, probably because I went from 30FPS to 60, or else it's because the frame rate in the game is less.

I was gonna say something about this, but seems like you people have already gotten stuff rolling. I will be downloading everything and trying to encode stuff when I have free time this week. I will of course ask nate if to help out too, since he's much more experienced at this.

For those who recorded through XSplit and are unaware of how to access the recordings, go to Tools ->My XSplit Files and then go into the folder with the channel name you used. Right click on the individual files and choose "Save As" and then you can save a local copy of the flv wherever you want. I'd prefer you indicate at least the game name in the video title before uploading.

I'll have to PM people later in the week if they chose not to upload stuff or use this thread.

Yea it might end up being a better choice to go with the DVD recording in this case, as big as it might be. That goes for pretty much everyone who bothered having DVD-quality recordings of their runs.

Hey my gameplay definitely got captured, the stream with commentary and 1hand should be recorded too but I can't check at the moment. Shortly after my run ended a tornado hit my town and the power is out for who knows how long. Thankfully my house didn't get hit but I'll have to wait to send you guys the recording.

Upload it to something like Megaupload. Unless your run is under an hour, it's probably too big for mediafire. Do NOT upload to rapidshare, they suck.
