Contra 3: Since Mike is not running it this time, $$$ to either make him sing it or not, depending on how good/evil everyone feels. Tongue
SMW: $$$ To use Yoshi to get to Donut Secret 1 instead of a cape. (Bwahahahahahah!)
DKC2: $$$ To do Parrot Chute Panic blindfolded.

Ok, only that first one is a good idea, the others suck.

Lego Harry Potter has extras, like Lego Star Wars did
-Disguise (noseglasses)
-Carrot wands
-Singing mandrake (instead of screaming)
-Christmas (everyone wears Santa hats with Christmas music in the background)
-Silhouettes (all characters are black silhouettes)
-Ice rink (ground becomes slippery)

Christmas, silhouettes, and ice rink would probably only be for one level each, since they make the level harder.  I could also take donations to play some of the cutscenes (since they're skippable in this game), but while they're kind of humorous, I can't really think of any that stand out.

SECOND EDIT:

DISREGARD ABOVE.  In fact, I'ma gonna delete it.

You going to throw any Tetris Attack challenges my way, Cyghfer?

idk what other challenges there are besides the ones i gave to nes last marathon

though there should be a donation option to choose the character used for the cave of wickedness stages!!

also, i'll be pleasantly surprised if i get any donation challenge things for smrpg. the only people i can think of who'd know things to donate for probably won't donate, oh well.

The only thing I could even think of for SMRPG is to do all the tadpole songs.  I don't think they require you to meet the person who tells you the song, you just have to be at a certain point in the game.
Highly Evolved
That's a good one, cyghfer, though I'd think I'd be surprised if I got one donation for it.  Could do a donation for every stage under 20 seconds.  Or under 30 seconds.  I need to practice vs. if nothing else than to get timing on one frame stuff, since vs. is a tad bit faster than Time Trial Medium speed.

For SMRPG, how 'bout a donation for every stage you don't hit an undesired random encounter?
about the tadpole songs, unless there was a big donation for that i wouldn't accept that, because that would waste a lot of time, it's not really humorous or interesting, and you get pretty much nothing of worth for a speedrun from doing them

i'm thinking more along the lines of TAS jumps/maneuvers that i don't really try for in attempts. the random encounters thing would be nice easy money but not anything that impressive, imo.

Now a hit show on the CW
Maxed out score on Beetle Mania Wink

I still think we should skype call it and voice act the entire game.
Ok, I have a better one. I'd like to set up a shoutout donation so I can give people shoutouts during my run. I'm in the process of making a thread at my site already, and if Nightcrawler allows it, I'll make one at Romhacking.net, too. While Slick mostly gets the same viewership RHDN does, RHDN gets a lot more traffic, so I think there's potential there.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to keep track of the shoutouts before my run comes up, because I don't know if/when I'll have the cable access. I'm planning on having it available to me on the 7th and 8th, but I'm not sure on times. If you guys don't think this is a good idea, I'll can it.
Waiting hurts my soul...
Donate to show all cutscenes in Jak & Daxter (yes, they're unskippable...). There really isn't anything that can be donated for this game sadly. About the only thing I can think of is if people would pledge a certain amount of money if I don't get hit at Klaww, or catch the muse quickly like in the current run.

If things are going well, and I have extra time at the end, I could potentially go back for certain power cells based on donations. Also, I do plan on skipping to the yellow sage from the blue sage. I need to practice this still though (along with the rest of the game), but another option is to actually go through that part of the stage, it'd add about 2 minutes, and is in the current run, so it should still be under 2 hours. I can't really think of anything else that isn't "if you land this hard trick/skip/glitch, then I'll donate x amount." Everything else would just add time, and I'm not sure how much of that we'll have.

Have all of the run-ending glitches been patched? I thought about running this for the site and almost volunteered to run it at AGDQ but at the time there were too many glitches floating around that made the game un-finishable.
Can't really think of much off the top of my head for MGS2, but could be one to not skip the cutscene on External Gazer where Gurlugon appears and takes out a guard Godzilla-style. I think it's a great cutscene myself.

MGS with Carc could donate for Meryl lives/dies. Lives would extend the run 5 minutes or so.
Fucking Weeaboo
Not much would be done for Kirby, though I could do one for Lament of Innocence for showing the "I'll kill you AND the night!" cutscene.  I would need it settled early, since I can't change the voice language mid-game, and that scene if shown is better in English (though I generally keep the Japanese voice acting on when I play).  It only adds about 90 seconds to the run.
Everything's better with Magitek

It's possible that a lot of the glitches have been fixed.  I've run into some bad glitches a few times, but it's pretty rare.  I was planning on doing IL runs (the entire game would take too long), so if something bad happens I can just start the level over.

If you need extra voices, I can supply some.

Talked to romscout about it, but figured I'd just post it anyway.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Can donate for Normal mode All Bosses or Hard mode any%

The main draw of all bosses is that it's a very surprising route with lots of warping tricks.

The main draws of any% is that there'll be a lot of variety in how I kill the bosses and it'll be more tense, since it's really easy to die.
Strange days, incredible days
Donations for a 105-level Light World run in Super Meat Boy, maybe? Just means no level skips in the first five chapters, it would tack on less time than Cotton Alley, and there's some fun levels that get lost in the any% run.

Hmmm....race to see if either Breakdown or joe can finish The Kid's warp zone in under lets say 7 minutes? thumbsup

I've yet to try streaming and not sure my connection could handle it, or I'd have asked to join the Meat Boy race, but actually I think it might be fun to watch someone else run this game. Good luck to both of you.

DDII: Mike Uyama is player 2. Don't worry Mike, even if you never played this game we can still do this one.
