Hello everybody, i'm ValvaLOVE, a french speedrun addict Smiley !

I watched many speedrun video (AGDQ 2013 restream [thank Mister MV] and many others) and i'm a huge fan of this practice. I'm not actually speedrunner but, i want to try a Guardian's Crusade speedrun (my first RPG *_* ) on PS1. I believe this game is not speedrunning, but if anyone want to do this with me it's OK ^^' !
I'm so sorry for my english, it will be hard for me to discuss on the forum, but i will makes efforts !
Hope to have fun, and meet friendlu people on this forum ! Smiley
Well, hello guys! I'm LeFrozer, a swiss soon-to-be speedrunner.

I started watching speedruns around AGDQ 2013 and I always wanted to join the wonderful community... but it took a long time now xD

I tried to speedrun like two games (Mega Man Zero 3 and Donkey Kong on Gameboy) but sadly, I never had time to practice it enough. It didn't change until today.

I think I will stay with Donkey Kong, but I also want to learn very untypical and somewhat boring speedruns. Most likely the FE and Advance Wars series. I always liked those sort of games. At least I can enjoy them when I reset a lot xDD
Hey everyone! I've been speedrunning and watching speedruns for a long time now and decided to make it official and start running more seriously. Here are the games I run and my personal best times.

Doco desu ka!?
Hi, new user here.
My name is Gogoku7, you can find me all over the internet using this name.
I've been wanting to join SDA since AGDQ 2012, but never got around it it. Gotta say, this is an interesting forum.
From very young age, I've always tried completing games as fast as I could. But the games that have stood out for me since 2005 and were to enjoyable to "speedrun" are:

- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon:  Blue Rescue Team - Got the Lucario Rank two days after the first non-Japanese player to have achieved it with video evidence.
- Super Mario 64 DS - For some reason, I told Greenalink back in 2007/2008 that my Any% PR was 10 minutes slower than the current world record, but I later discovered it was actually 26 minutes. (Discovering that after all my boasting made me shut myself off from SM64DS speedrunning for years now, but I'm kind of back into it)
- Tetris DS - Archieved nothing special in particular.
- Mario Kart 7 - I'm ranked among the 30 best western Time Trialers (and top 100 in VR, but that's about time spent online moreover), and the founder of the MK7 VR List website. I also tried some "speedrunning" in this game.

My current goal for SDA is to have my 'Mario Kart 7, 32 tracks No-glitched Single segement' run get approved as an actual record.
More about me?
17-year old in college from The Netherlands, likes Anime and Manga, draws a lot on Flipnote Studio, and I make pretty decent quality Nintendo 3DS videos using a camera instead of Capture Card.

Gday guys axlester here comin to ya from the land down under. I recently joined sda after watching AGDQ 2013 (sadly after the fact) and really loving what I saw. I am currently trying (and atm failing) a segmented any% run of Pokemon Colosseum possibly one of the hardest games to speedrun because of all the RNG but heres hoping. I am also looking to do other games down the track as well as get into streaming soon hopefully and then maybe I can join you guys for a marathon one day when I am good enough. Cheers for having me and hopefully hear from you guys soon.
Hi everyone! I go by Marit.

After seeing many speedruns I've decided to register and try for my own, and have loved what this site has done (i.e: Awesome games done quick)  I can't wait to get started and hope you guys enoy watching what I hope to perform and post here Cheesy
A complete and utter noob.
Hey, I'm Akyua. (Pronounced however you want). I'm 18 and I live in England. I'm also a Games Development student.

I've been interested in Speedrunning for the majority of my gaming career. A number of years ago, all I would do is watch Speedruns of my favourite games and be amazed. I recently re-discovered Speedrunning by catching the end of AGDQ and watching a few VoD's. I am currently watching ESA and loving every minute of it!

I hope to eventually be able to run Limbo and Alice: Madness Returns at a casual, non-serious level. I also want to run Mirror's Edge but I'm far too afraid at my current skill level!

Thanks and bye Smiley

Personal text is in another place!
Huhu,

My name is Ingolf, I am 25 years old and live in Germany.
I spend my free time playing some competitive games or working with the RPG Makers 2k and XP.

In the year 2004 I tried to play Metroid Fusion. After falling down a platform, I think it was right before Plant Core X, I have never figured out how I can climb up again. I searched for a guide or run and encountered this site. 9 years later I finally succeeded in creating an account and being active for a while (I mean, one post 8 month ago is pretty active in comparison to the last years:)

I don't speedrun games, I haven't finished a game which I like to play more than once. But watching is still pretty entertaining. There is a backlog of around 180 runs I haven't seen at the moment, so there is no more time for me writing here.
Hello everyone,

My real name is Joppe and I'm from the netherlands.
I saw my first speedrun two years ago and I really liked it.
After that I discovered AGDQ and SDA.
I like running weird pc games for the most part. But I also try to speedrun old gameboy/N64 games.

Happy speedrunning everyone ! Wink
Hey everyone,

I'm Wafflesuccker, I've been watching speedruns for quite awhile, but just recently starting running games myself.  I've dabbled in a few games, but my first serious attempt is going to be Earthbound.  I've really enjoyed the speedrunning community so far and I look forward to being a more active member.  Hopefully I'll be streaming soon as well.

Thanks and good luck!
Hi guys,

My name is Biocaker and I speed run Majora's Mask, and 007 - The World is Not Enough on the N64. I have always been a competitive gamer (quake live, CS-GO, Starcraft), but only recently (6 months ago) got into speedrunning. I don't go for world records, I just go and try and get a time that I am happy with, and that will entertain people watching my stream.

Thanks, and good luck with all your runs everyone! ^.^
Hello, I'm Sam from UK, I play lots of games from Castlevanias, Metroids, Pokemons and other stuff, never really aimed for speed per se, though I'd usually play games faster than most players out of habit. I don't stream too often (username is the same as here/everwhere else). I do want to get into some form of speedrunning, but I've not had the motivation to do so. Had Borderlands 'all quests' in my to-do list for about a month now. Same for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance...

Maybe I'll get round to these someday. ^_^
Hey everyone,

I'm Tyler, aka Cozy. I'm from Iowa and I've been in the speedrunning community for about 7~8 months now. I Initially started by watching speedruns on speedrunslive, but eventually learned about SDA as well, and figured it was about time to make an account and browse the forums here. I currently run/have ran: Ocarina of Time any%, Oracle of Seasons any%, The Wind Waker any% Japanese tunerless, Super Mario 64 16 and 70 Star, and some fun runs of Mario Kart 64. The reason for knowing this many games is that I'm still not quite sure what kind of game I'd like to run (for some reason it's been a real problem).

Anyway, hope you all have great runs and I'll see you later Smiley
Hello!  I'm Nana; I've only been streaming for a few months now, but haven't been doing anything consistently Sad  I'm 21 years old and a college student from Iowa.  I've been looking into speedrunning, however, I am fairly new to the community, but I would love to help out in any way possible.
Hey guys! I'm Lobster, I'm from the UK and I'm a 19 year old soon-to-be speedrunnner and current student. Still deciding which game I want to start speedrunning. I started watching speedrunning a lot around AGDQ 2013 but have been watching for about half a year before that.
Just saying Aloha. Long time lurker/video watcher who decided to give this speedrunning deal a try. Mostly see myself doing the RPG variety I think. Now to figure out which game from my library to attempt first. Ahhh decisions.
"Flying" Armor
'Sup. I'm ForOhFor Error, and I'm starting to do some casual speedruns. I've picked up Aria Of Sorrow New Game Any%.
Hey, I'm StarrlightSims, running mainly gamecube and wii games
Hey, I'm Forstride.  I've been watching runs for about a year now, and figured it's about time I find something of my own to run.  Been looking at Animal Crossing (GCN) as a potential choice, even though it's not exactly a game that can be beat.  Hopefully I'll be able to get something done with it before the end of the year, so look out for it!  Cheesy
Hullo.
New runner here. I've dabbled in running before, but nothing official or serious.
The first game I'm attempting to learn is Mega Man 4.
Hell-o. I'm trap (also commonly referred to as traps or flying traps). I'm 18, but I've been playing games since I was probably 2. Despite all those years, I've never been really interested in speedrunning because it usually requires breaking the game and stuff, but I've always really enjoyed casual playing. I also am approaching an education that will hopefully lead me to being a game developer. So with that being said, I've recently found speed runs a great learning experience, and they're usually also very calming, easy to watch. So I figure I'll give it a shot, and maybe make some friends along the way.

I'm interested in running super nintendo games, mainly, but I'm also thinking about doing some playstation 1 games as well.

I also very seriously watch and criticize both music and movies in my free time, so if you ever want a recommendation, I've probably got something for everyone.
