I've watched this run and I was very impressed.. I certainly had never guessed that this game could be done with 1 character similar to DAMURDOC's BG2 run since you start off at a lower level so your stealth ability isn't very effective. It must have been very tedious waiting for your character to hide early on. Lets hope this run is verified soon.
My run should be on soon, let's hope for the best.
I worked on a new IWD route over the past two days and found numerous new shortcuts.
Most importantly: Potion duping and scroll duping works in IWD as well (without HoW). Because of that I'll use a human dual-classed Mage 2 -> Figher. Thieving skills besides stealth are rarely used and thanks to the duping I have plenty of Potions of Invis and Oils of Speed. I also don't need to memorize any spells as I use them only from scrolls. So it makes sense to play a dual-classed character.
In order to steal from Orrick in Kuldahar I simply add a second character to the party and dispose him after the pick pocking.
Secondly, there's one scroll of Dimension Door in Dragon's Eye Level 5. I dupe that and use it extensively.
I also have numerous other new shortcuts, some of them include: -The Ork cave doesn't need to be entered at all, the quest trigger is outside the cave -I use the force-talk glitch were possible (Kaylessa, Neo Orog chieftain, Iron Golems+Malavons Simulacrum). This makes all these fights easier and faster -There are some nice spells in Malavons chamber (Disintegrate, finger of death, Death Spell) I use the finger of death on Malavon and Disintegrate on the Maiden. This is especially great because the fight against Malavon usually takes quite long. -The Death Spell can be used to kill ALL the false Pomabs and Pomabs itself. This makes this fight really easy and extemely fast. -The cutscene with Larrel outside the Severed Hand can be skipped with a combination of Dimension Door and Forced Talk. -I kill Everard in Easthaven. This way the cutscene in the Temple is skipped completely and the cutscene with Poquelin is much shorter (because Everard won't appear to jump into the portal.)

I am certain that this will be very impressive, good luck.
I tough about working on an Icewind dale 2 run but I have yet to find any reliable tactics.
yeah a run of icewind dale 2 would be impressive because of the low level character and there are so many battles i think it'd be impossible to run it solo, or it will be a very long run anyway i wish you luck for icewind dale
