OK I talked with Simon at archive and he thinks that for anyone who's located in europe it should automatically redirect you to the EU mirror, and he found out that it is at http://ia201109.eu.archive.org/hdb1/movies/HalfLife2_25735/ But there seems to be something weird going on with that server, it's taking ~20 seconds to reply and for the download to start. Once it does, it goes pretty fast. So, if you're in Europe having problems getting the run, try to wait a bit longer before thinking it doesn't work, or try the above link.
