Hey there. Title says a thing, but im not new to watching speedruns... which... thats why im here. anyways.

I was looking at where to submit a run, then I read a thing about verification and submitting something there. I dont feel like I should post a thread there cause its all by one dude... even though it says, if you have questions PM this dude or post... I dont wanna be that guy.

I have run of me and two others Beating Heroes of the Storm AI match. Was wondering if that was an acceptable game... its really short. but I dunno. figured it would be fun to get that time down.

Hi Pandas and welcome,

everything you need to know is on this page: http://speeddemosarchive.com/lang/submit_en.html

Basically, it's recommended to post a quality test first. For that, you create a thread in this sub-board. How the thread should look like can be read here.
If the quality test passes (or you choose to skip it), the run can be submitted here.

No idea if Heroes of the Storm is a valid game for speedrunning, I'm sure someone else will comment on that soon.

Welcome to SDA. Heroes of the Storm most likely not meet SDA  guidelines. However, you can still do speedruns of HotS if you wish, no one is stopping you. You might even check SRC to see if someone beat you to it (they probably have).
There are some examples of games that would not be SDA-acceptable here: https://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Rules. From what I can see after a quick search, HotS has some kind of single player mode. I don't know the details of that mode, but if there are clearly defined start and end points, it should be speedrunnable.
HotS is essentially like DotA/LoL, right ? One point that has been brought up for LoL, is that the game gets patched every now and then, with new heroes, nerfs, etc. Baaaaaaack then (2014), UraniumAchor said the following:
Quote from UraniumAnchor:
We won't accept a run of this game because the patching system makes it completely impossible to fairly compete with older runs if something gets changed. But that doesn't mean it can't be discussed here.

Also, I'm not sure if the game qualifies because it seems more like a competitive skirmish game rather than a game with a clear ending.
