I hope the movement of the player is changing too, because in HL2 i can bunnyhopp 3x faser then in HL1 engine. And i know a bunch of tricks for HL2 engine.
I think HL² Uplink can i complete faster Smiley

If the physic engine is changing too, i think 2:40 is possible.

Those tricks were around long before you knew about the project, hehe. That combo wmv was pretty nice though.

Also, I think your jumpscript might be a little out of sync, it doesn't seem like you get as much accel when bhopping as your supposed to.

I use your script and it takes a few seconds until i get the speed.
When you look at "ExtremJumping" at 0:07 i get many speed.
So, what's wrong?
Only what i noticed, at one part of the game the script always sucks. I jump suddenly it stop, then it continue.
Don't know why.
Mybe 'cause i have low FPS at this point Huh?
can you post ur script, maybe i writted wrong ?

i might know someone that could help you jump easely with a .dll for hl1

i never used that .dll but some ppl use it ( illegal in the game i play ) but could be very usefull in a speedrun

I use AutoHotKey, here my script for bhopping:

But maybe you can make a script, which press rshift and mbutton (mouse wheel) at the same time.

Okay... so I played around a little in uplink (steam) and recorded one demo where some time can be gained and one which was just screwed Huh?
REMOVED LINK, here I manage to grenade myself over the walls and gain some time. I did this in hard, so its probably much easier to have more health on easy.
On REMOVED LINK I don't know what the heck happened but I think a marine shoot a grenade at my spray paint and the grenade didn't explode when it hit the ground. At the beginning of the demo I mess with the console so that's why I'm not moving... and when the hick-ups come I'm typing.
You have to have uplink to steam to be able to see the demos... (Available at REMOVED LINK, open with winrar and extract in SteamApps\email\half-life)

Nice grenade jump, but you need health for the following g-jump up to that button.
And the funnygrenade was really mystiriously.
Oh and a question:
You'll try to beat my time?
Naaah... I'm not really trying to beat it.
I mean, its pretty impossible to compare times when you play on easy and I on hard.
But I am trying to make a better speedrun than my previous.
