Just a tip for the recording:  it looks like you're using startmovie (which is good).  This means that you can crank up the details (and draw distance) to as far as they can go, without impacting the performance of the video.

hi
Really?
I use playdemo, and that sucks, at some places the fps go down to 19 (when i record), which is not really good for a video.
Well startmovie renders frame by frame, maybe resulting in 10frames/second, but that doesn't matter since you don't view it live Smiley
hi
I have a new timesaver.
When you fly up, you don't must get in and jump off, just touch the lift from below. When you touch it the trigger activates and so just throw the fly thing away and fall.

Exactly.

cl_framerate 30
playdemo thedemo; startmovie themovie
endmovie

I think that's how it goes.  Anyway you should have a whole bunch of .tga files and a .wav file when you're done.  Virtualdubmod (and many other video editors) can assemble them into a nice smooth video that stays at 30 fps, no matter how high your settings are or how much stuff is going on.
