How can I get N64 Games working !legaly! on my computer ? There must be a way. I'm not sure roms are legal or illegal when a own the original game-

So can you tell my a way to get this working ?

ROMS are ILLEGAL even if you own the original cartridge. Also, SDA doesn't allow runs made on a ROM, so if you were planning to use them for that you can't anyway.

if anybody is understanding this text: i really do not know if it's legal or illegal. It could be legal becouse of this:

it means that you have to delete the rom 24 hours after downloading when you do not own the game, otherwise you dont have to.
It could be illegal because of this:

but I think this is meant to people who do not own the original game, so i think it is legal. Does anybody know ?

I don't think it's illegal if you own the game. I guess it's a matter of opinion whether its illegal or not. In the future it will be legal, even nintendo is allowing downloadable roms for their next console.

i know how to download roms and get them to work, that's not the problem, but legal ?
i also haven't found a supermario 64 rom yet  :-[

I used to be athiest until I realized I was God.
This isn't the place to be asking about downloading roms, regardless of whether or not its for the SDA. Which it isn't.

Maybe I can explain a few things.

First, the 24 hours thing is a joke. Even if everybody say that, it will not become true.

This is not exactly true. Downloading roms is illegal, but you can obtain a rom legally by dumping the one on your cartridge, this is just a back up. Of course, you can't copy this back up or give it to a friend... Roll Eyes
You can't download a rom even if you own the game.
Of course, that could depend on the country, but that goes for most of them.
