I run HP2 for the Gamecube and am hoping to get the NTSC version as it runs quicker. I'm planning on using freeloader on my European GC. Will the game run at original speed or at pal speed, and does the run still count as legitimate?
Thread title:
I have one but haven't used it years. I used to use it all the time.

Whatever NTSC game you load up, it will run at that speed. It doesn't do anything weird like force an NTSC game to run slow like PAL.

Yes the run is legitimate if you do this. There's absolutely nothing wrong here.
Fucking Weeaboo
While I haven't used Freeloader for GC, if it works like other boot discs, you should get an option on what format you want to run it in (NTSC, PAL-50, PAL-60). As long as your TV can handle the format, run it at the native format, which for your game would be NTSC. From my understanding, if your TV can do PAL-60, it should be able to handle NTSC.

Boot discs solely for the purpose of booting games in a different region have been accepted. Just don't use it for cheats or booting games in the wrong format (PAL-50 instead of NTSC or vice versa) and you are good to go.
