Thread watch email notifications have been reset for all users of hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com and outlook.com
Users of those email services are free to go to threads they really want to get email alerts on and turn them back on.
So why did I reset the notifications? It's because one or more recipients of these message has apparently been reporting them as spam to Microsoft. This lead to all email from the SDA server to Microsoft's suite of domain names being rejected for an approximate 24 hour period until I was able to contact them and get off the block list. In order to avoid the problem happening again, I have to stop the emails to whomever was marking them as spam. Since there is no way for me to know who it was, I decided to just clear all the notifications for the affected domains and post this message. It was about 900 threads.
