With the Program Pinnacle Studio 12. How do you get it to show fullscreen when recording. With the Program DScaler. Is there a way to record it without having audio coming in through the game only. Its picking up our voices when we record.
Heyyy... wait.. i don't know you. Don't confuse me
I doupt the emulator... iirc are they forbidden. And i guess you can get it running on XP with the compability setting... and if you have vista.. well... who has vista anyways?
I know what you mean about looking for a job. I'm in the same boat and it's demotivating work. I wish we could all have our hobbies without serious work :D, but it's just not the case.
Tears, they fall just like runs that are too slow.
I may do an improvement to my Castlevania DoS NG+ run since getting the necessary souls and items can be done in small daily chunks and the run is fairly short.
I was wondering if this game is being planned or tested by anyone? I've played through this game many dozens of times, and the fastest I've ever done it was around 22 hours, and that wasn't really even a speed run, it was just a normal playthrough.
It seems to me there's so many ways to abuse this game. Not only do they have the overpowered limit breaks that you can keep spamming just by keeping your HP low (Quistis's Degenerator = 1HKO), but using Card Mod to gain high level magicks, killing Diablos with Laguna's team, and then learning Enc-Half / Enc-None ASAP to stop random battles altogether. Free command abilities like Recover, Treatement, and Revive. Getting gil just by walking around (and you can do the exam right away to get your SeeD level up and get more salary). The fact that levels mean little to nothing in this game. The ability to create LionHeart on Disc 1 allegedly. Modding Laguna's card to get Holy Wars (I think) to help you survive Ultimecia. It should certainly be possible to run it faster than or at least close to Essentia's 10:25 run for FFX.
Yes there was a run done for it. FF8 was on PS1 so if you were searching in Newer Consoles there is no wonder you couldn't find it. The run couldn't be submitted because of an inconsistent segment. An audioless run has been submitted there though! Time - 8:47 (about 60% or 70% is dialogue and CGI)
Well, we played through this game, but only had a PAL-Version. The segments are very long, because of the dialogue and cut scenes. We achieved a time around 12:00 as far as I can remember, which was way too long to submit.
Still no time up for this Final Fantasy VIII game there is 7, 9, and 10 (there might be others just don't know at this moment) hm I might consider doing this one as well. Is anyone here doing a Final Fantasy VIII run and if so which version you doing it on?
This is David Singleton. Im working on the ff8 run right now. Im using darkwasabi's video as a guide to help me and compare times. Ive only watched the first 3 videos and I already seen a trick I can do lol. Never knew you could teleport with the info in the main hall.

VIII isn't the only one missing from the Final Fantasy series.
Im having trouble finding a good capture device to record the program and have audio and video synced. What do you guys use? Ive tried Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 but the video is like 5 seconds slower than the audio.
Ok, the link didnt work but I found the item on amazon. About $160 used. Will any DVD Recorder work? I have a dvd player that records dvds. I'm more interested in a computer program that will help me though because I will be recording the same segment multiple times and then I have to cut and paste them together and thats hard for me to do if they are already burned on to a dvd.
Just burn them to a dvd, put the disc in your computer and then use Anri-chan which can handle all of the things you require as well as outputting the videos in the correct formats that SDA wants for submissions.
Ok, Ill do that. I put a demo video up on youtube to try and show quality but I see that youtube downs the quality of the video. If you want to see I have the video at http://ffgamer86.blogspot.com up for those who can see.
