do the speedrun with a psx emulator. then you won't get artifacts. if PC is allowed, why not emulators?

I've diddled around with a run of this game on PlayStation, but nothing concrete. Besides that, I've got a HUGE queue of things to work on =[

i dont think its cursed and i dont think this would be that hard to speedrun. I'd do it but i dont have a CD recorder or anything Sad only VCR & no blank tapes to record anyways lol.

Remember there is also a huge difference between the PSX and PC loading times. Your playing PSX I recon? Then a 9:34 is a good start. How did you get to that number? Last save + real time added?

Yeah but the only real problem is that after you fight Ultimecia, the GF that where i struggle but the they morph and im like a goner thats the part that sucks for me. My characters are so low its hard to beat the ultiGF. 15:45 I dont think is a acceptiable run time but im going to keep on trying my best to get a good run. Tongue

Oh yeah you should be able to improve to 9 hours 'easy'. Also think invincibility items for that part of Ultimecia.

Actualy ive never thought of that. Hmm? I bet that would be very usefull thanks. Now I just need to learn some tricks to doing some parts faster. But i should be done in no time. Also I'll be recording on a vcr. Does it make a big difference from SP,LP,SLP. Beacase I dont want to waste any of my DVD-R's and I cant find DVD-RW any where and i have a whole bunch of DVD+R's but every time i put one of those in my DVR I have problems with the DVR and it says it records all types? Back to VCR speeds what would I use I sorta like LP. The quallity isn't that bad is It. If i do it on SP thats going to be alot of tapes.

As far as i know, SDA does not accept tapes anymore.
