Hello,

I am great fan of Fallout series and i'm leader of best polish fallout tactics clan on polish fallout community.
So they made Fo1 and Fo2 time for FoT

I'm planning to make segment run,
start -  start in bunker, mission and back to bunker - end of segment.

soon i will upload my testing video from 1 mission.

what do you think about my idea?

Interesting.

How do you plan to proceed? As you know, the game isn't really fast-paced, especially fighting tends to take time. I haven't played the game on long time, but as I recall, mostly the mission involved killing everyone. On the other hand, I never went for speed and my playing style is a bit brutal, so I know little of the more cunning methods.

How do you plan to make it ? Single person or a team ? Stealth or just run as hell ? The only advice I can give you is to kill only necessary enemies since you gain most experiences by completing mission objectives, but I guess you already know it. I hope you won't give up. Good luck.

i finished that game with single char on tough guy-.-
so it will be easy

tank char + closerange firepower = massacre i am able to finish first mission in about 5 minutes so whole game should be less than 2 hours.

some mission have slow objective like move car to point or defend ghould fortress but mostly it is run pick run byebye


my method should be more pro than faskalia cuz i know that game for 5 years.

sg/eg/stealh tags
traits - fastshot/gifted
quick shooting sniper leading to gantling minigun in late game.

i still got problems with recording it cuz it lag then i move screen

I never played any Fallouts, I plan to get and play them soon once I have some free time, since they are definitely one of the best RPGs around. I'd love to see this run Smiley Good luck!

edit: Why is there no sound....and why is the game half-english and half-polish Shocked Aaand, why is it sorta 'lagging' ?

one of my cd's broken so i downloaded one and it was english version so it's mixed but work!

And it is lagging then i scroll screen

Lol Smiley Well, it would be IMO better if you downloaded the second one in english or something, since it looks quite strange.

And maybe you should try to fix that lags while scrolling the screen, since they make it slightly unpleasant to watch :p

If you have issues related to recording (i.e codecs, programs etc.), SDA Knowlegde base helps.

I can't play the file, so I can't drop any comment right now.

The problem is you record in Camtasia which is awful to record games with. Fraps or Gamecam doesn't work ? But I'm worried if it's even possible to record the game and make scrolling smooth. Other than that, 20 fps seems to be enough  for this game. Anyway, the run is very good and I'm looking forward for the next missions, cuz this one was fairly easy. Btw, what's the difficulty ?

For the people who can't play the file: It's Techsmith screen capture codec.

i am still using camtasia with MPEG-4 V2 codec its good now and size is nice too

1- i can record with other prog and add it but it wont be synchronized perfectly;s
2- i can record with mic but i dont think you want hear my cough ;s;s

Have you tried those programs I mentioned above ? If you still insist on using camtasia or you simply can't use fraps/gamecam and you want a sound, there is a setting in camtasia for recording a sound. But I personally had bad experiences with that. Even if I checked recording only via Wave in audio settings, not mic, it has still forced to record it via mic after a few seconds. Perhaps there is a way to fix it, but I don't know. Better use hypercam, which is faster and easier to use. Or you can use external sound recording program. Then you just have to open it in some better video editor (sony vegas, ulead media, adobe premiere etc.) and synchronize it with the video.
