This really isn't that big of a problem, but it's annoying.

Lets say, I have a raw file that's 2:11, and when it's edited, it ends up being 1:49. Everything goes right editing it, and I rewatch it. At the end of the 1:49, the task bar isn't all the way at the end, and then the file length will turn to 2:11.

Basically, there's some blank space, that only appears when you watch it. Is there a way to get rid of this, is it my media player, or is it a way that I'm editing?

Are you using virtualdub to cut the file? Sounds like there might be more sound in the file than video, and the media player notices this at the end and continues on.

I'm using Virtual Dub.

OK then... do you cut the video with the audio in it? or cut the video and then add a wav file later? If it's the first option then I don't understand what's happening.

It's the first one. It doesn't happen all the time, I'd say every one out of three times. I cut the video, then compress the video and audio, all at once.
