Easter Charity Marathon *Bonus Stream?*

If we were to do a bonus stream who would be interested in running some games?

The way it will work.
I can give the details of the page out to people so that it can twitch channel can be updated by the runner.
The order of the runners will be first come first serve (or if you just talk amongst yourselves)
Length? I have no idea, depends if people are interested.

If there are not enough people interested then we will not do the bonus stream. If there are donations during the bonus stream and I am sleeping (which I will be during the start if it happens) we cannot read them out however if we do get any I can read them when I get back.

I think we can get enough runners and maybe during the bonus more people will want to do some runs! If you do want to run in the bonus stream this is what I want on your stream;
- Runner : <Your Name>
- Your twitch url.
- Game : <Game you are running>
- Estimate : <Your estimated time>
- A timer. No splits. Only the timer!
- I think the charities logo will be good. Keep it small as everything else on the stream is more important: http://imgur.com/IGwcoxu

Essentially your normal stream plus the above.

We can give you details on the stream key etc in the Skype call. If you want to PM with your Skype, I will add you, get you in the call and we can go from there.

I'll offer to do Metroid Prime 2 Any%, which should take 2 hours at max, or Metroid Prime 2 100%, which should take 3 hours.

I'd offer to do Metroid Fusion 1%, but I'm not quite that well practiced at that category, and there are better runners of that category...

Also, the point of bonus stream is to be a surprise? Tongue

So maybe having this thread isn't the best idea haha, we can talk on skype chat?

I'd be up to run Shank 2 NG+. Shouldn't take any longer than 55 minutes for set-up, and full game completion.

I could run Ecco, the headset I bought yesterday to do commentary had a busted microphone though so I'll try to get it replaced today.

I'd like to offer Secret of Mana Any%. It's a pretty cool run, and I actually do it with two controller instead of one. Estimate would be around 3:40:00.

I will tentatively offer Suikoden any%. Estimate would be about four hours, but I'm not sure I can get skype audio on my stream, and if I can't, I don't really want to take up four hours of the bonus stream for just me talking about the game. I'll update whether I want to stay in or not.

I could do Q.U.B.E.. It would be about a 35 min estimate (actual run will take between 29-33 minutes but yea). It's a cool little first-person puzzle game which remind most people of portal at first glance.

I guess I could offer Mega Man: Day in the Limelight 2 Any% (Or just 8 Masters, if rushed for time). Any% would be about 1 hour 30 minutes, 8 Masters 20 minutes.

i can do Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, realistically ~1:30 but 1:50 would account for bad luck. +5-10 minutes each for UFO ending instead of any%. can also do Spyro: Year of the Dragon, 1:20 is realistic, 1:40 conservative

I can offer Super Monkey ball 2 story mode for bonus stream, PB is 53:44 so estimate would be a hour.

When this marathon ends. I need to sleep as I have slept roughly 5hours over these 3days. I think it would be a good idea to make it the responsibility of either runner or people in the skype to call pass info the next runner
Obviously as it is a bonus stream it will be unscheduled so if you can organise "who goes next" can be done amongst yourselves. The maximum length of this bonus stream I would say is a day (assuming we get enough games to fill that time)

I have added a few people on skype who I will then add to the Skype group once the marathon is over then I will leave it up to you guys with the bonus. Personally, if he can do it, I want Presjpolk to start the bonus stream with TLoZ seeing it had to be cut due to technical issues.

I will be giving out the password to this twitch channel that way someone can be changing the twitch title/game etc.

OK - anyone who wants to run games for this - should probably head over to the stream and shout at us all.
