Sorry for the late reply, I haven't had much time for gaming in the past month.

As for my best time. I don't know, I've never timed myself and I'm super rusty at the moment.
If I had to guess I would say somewhere around the 30 min mark. (I know its not a great time)

But I'm going to have more free time in the coming months, so I'm looking forward to getting back into that game!

Very nice pyrq! A shame about the Moliarty fight.
Also: why don't you just damage boost through the final transforming duck? Saves like 4 seconds.

Simple answer would be 'cause I'm stupid. I was so focused on not screwing the run up that I was playing extremely safe for no reason. Just after I finished when I thought where I could save more time that was the first thing that came to mind. Gonna work on that and a couple more things. Hopefully a good Liquidator stage and grind some Megavolt fights.

Finally sub 16!

As for the run itself. Decent Liquidator, can save an extra second or so with better pattern/drops. Quackerjack was pretty good, got hit once which cost me the 0.8. Wolfduck was godlike. Bushroot started doing his own thing again, which was good but then I missed a couple of shots. Excuse my shouting at that point, I was mad after that fight. Megavolt was also godlike. Apart from the first jump that I failed, which doesn't cost much, it was perfect. On Steelbeak's stage I could've saved a couple more seconds (eg boss fight), but I wanted to play it safe.

If played perfectly I can see 15;50's happening. I won't bother though, unless some new trick is found or someone breaks the record. As much as I love this game, I wanted to get the sub 16 and start playing something else too. Maybe gonna visit it again in the distant future.

I also have a 21:46 on Goof Troop (Max solo, NTSC), but it's emulated though:

Blechy also has a Max solo PAL time: 28:01 if I remember correctly.

Added your time Le Hulk, but as far as I'm told, zsnes doesn't emulate lag. You should think about switching to a more accurate emulator.

Yeah, I know about zsnes flaws. Now I use BizHawk.
Fortunately I don't think there is too much lag in Goof Troop.
