I will most likely go for a segmented run as a SS would be plauged by too much dying. Ill just work on speed and staying alive and 100%

Single segment I usually hit around 2:20 or so,but I haven't played it in a while.

The only problem I'll have is that in some cases I purposely die in order to get all the avaliable gems in the level to optimize speed. For instance in Turtle Woods, I get the Blue Gem first, and WHEN I get the Blue Gem in the tunnel I go back out of the tunnel, fall in a pit then I traverse the land again getting the normal gem.

Under the rules here, would I just have to not do that?

Oh, and the reason I'm doing 2 is that it's my favorite and the most linear of the main three.

OMFG, I wanted to do that after YI. ;_; But I was gonna aim for any% sinlge seg. Good luck. ;x Because I still have to find a copy of Crash 2. =\

Radix would give you a penelty every time you would do it, so you probably don't want to do it.

Long Live Genesis Era

Yeah, in a attempt to try one today, I decided to do a segmented run of it no Deaths, but...

Area 1: Went very well, didn't die at all.
Area 2: Same as the first, didn't die at all and collected everything that I can.
Area 3: wow...just wow. Talk about hard. I haven't been able to tackle this bad boy at all before I went to work today.

I might try it tonight. Oh, and what I was thinking was that I'm giving myself one free Death if I mess up or something, because Five +other/secert areas = a long stretch.
