hi
I want to make a Counter-Strike speedrun.
In Counter-Strike 1.0 is a little Training map (so similarly as the HazardCourse in HL).
Anybody played the Training map?
If yes, anybody know shortcuts or tricks there?
I know a few tricks, but not many.

I miss the training, but then again, I was mostly playing multiplayer with my friends. Damn that was so fun while it lasted.
Kaiser Chiefs should have won the Mercury Prize

Just a note on your signiture about FEAR demo. I played that about 6 times all very different each time but found the going tough and took around 9mins.

Could you upload your FEAR Demo speedrun (FileFront is a good suggestion) because your time of just over 3mins sounds too good to be true and I HAVE to see it Smiley

That's soteos, over 440 posts of linking people to files and forum threads Wink
hi
@ easymail
when you want to say something about the F.E.A.R run
then please in this topic http://speeddemosarchive.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=pcgames;action=display;num=1125490260
Kaiser Chiefs should have won the Mercury Prize
Thanks soteos for the link, much appreciated Smiley

I didn't think there would be a topic on the FEAR demo (since it's hasn't been out long) when I was reading through these topics so posted a little request. I will however make sure I use the search tool in future.

I understand the two complaints posted here, but I think all you needed to do was direct me to the correct discussion board via a link, and personal attacks on members including soteos are uncalled for. In future, please respect peoples personal opinions/views and keep unnessary comments to youself (this is intended as a polite notice).
hi
What you think about the F.E.A.R run easymail?

EDIT: I will post my Counter-Strike run soon.  Smiley
Naw, pocari's just making fun of what I said once, that it seems half the stuff I post here is links. There's no complaints.
And I never played a counter-strike training level (it was always faded out, so I assumed there was none). I'm intrigued to see it.

Haha, I remember you mentioning it once so I just kinda... um, repeated it. soteos is my "home boi" as it were, so I wouldn't just up and make fun of him @_@;

The Counterstrike training was easy, and I still remember some tricks, but it's the most inane thing to run ever. The more entertaining runs would be full game runs. And yet, I want to get 1.0 just so I can play the training <_<;
hi
The run is done  Smiley

There are some mistakes, therefore i think that it is possible knock off about 26 seconds  Grin
Don't bother trying to improve it, the training mode looked pretty boring (not the run, but the level). And I want to shoot the guy that voiced the whole damn thing.  :shoot: (monotonous english accent)

Why don't you do full game runs of things, Dark?

I know you did Blue Shift pretty decently, but all these demos...? =\
hi
Because thres no game to speedrunning.
I mostly like Half-Life speedruns, but Half-Life started Spider-Waffle, Half-Life 2 started HL2DQ, Opposing Force is to good to be better and in Blueshift i cant knock off more time :-/
Half-Life are the best games to speedrunning.

Heh heh, you should start that discussion with the QdQ people Wink

I'm still working on my Blue Shift run, and so far it's looking really good. If I can get the Rosenburg bit to work alone, I'll be laughing.
