Congrats TMR your record.

TMR also give me motivation back play that game after 4 year breaks. Huh that was long break. My skills was only little bit rusty. I got my skills back quite soon and beat my old run and i also beat first SDA run 11:25.

Here my New best time 11:24 deathless run. Take me little bit over one hour beat my previous ancient record

I mostly suck base levels. I was something like 40 seconds behind TMR after the levels. I also suck level 7 first i used WR route but i always die over and over so i decide go my old/safety route my run. I think i have to practice level 7 my emulator, because this look i can,t handled that level.

But well this beat my previous run something like 15 seconds. Im happy i beat my 4 year old record. I think i might aim under 11 minutes somedays. But yeah i think its long way yet.

Congrats Master-88 ! Just keep at it, you will find the base levels become easy one day (that's how it happened for me anyway). Get into the Sub-11 club!

Last side note: Can we stop trying to spin things to sound negative? I know this all spurred from zallard1's post but I dont see a single negative word in his post. So why spin it that way?

Fact is I knew about the timing issue at the time of me recording my run. I never thought it was going to be an issue or it would knock off ~1.5 seconds off my time. Call it what you want, my time is 10:11 and TMR has a 10:10, end of story. If yall really wanna talk specifics, go for it. But keep the talk respectful and know that some people (me) just dont care about some things like that. I am more than happy knowing the time is being improved and people are still playing.

For the record. Super C any% can easily be improved, you have to be one crazy person to go after a serous run of low%. Contra force has already been passed to Mayor K (beat me by a few seconds). Contra Low% has a lot of improvements that can be made with the new findings. All of my runs are old and can be improved.

Edit: If TMR submits this run, I will pull mine off SDA so his can go up.

10:11:97 is in fact 10:12 so the gap is not that small so Heidrage won't have to pull off his as it will become obsolete just as the other obsolete runs. It's up to SDA to decide?

Remz - you really gotta get off the Heidrage hate wagon brother, it's just making you look bad. The man came in, explained his piece (with great dignity might I add) and admitted defeat. Just let it be man, at this point you are just becoming annoying.

I would really like to get serious about Super C at some point, I may be done with Contra to be honest - I'm happy with sub 11 and know I can get sub 10:30, but I'm focusing on other shit. The torch has been passed to TMR and I just hope this game gets pushed much further.

Late edit : I've read again my post and I have to admit that you are true Deuceler, that only makes me looks bad. Even my congrats for TMR was worded in a provocative way. It's not me... and I don't know why I am like that in the Contra community. I'll move foward and hope you guys and Heidrage forgives my misconduct.

got an 11:23 PB tonight after not playing this game for quite a while. I think I need to grind individual levels on emulator so I'm more comfortable with doing riskier strats in a run, cause this run was really safe (yet I still died twice).
